In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

DR. B. N. GANGADHAR

Prof. B.N. Gangadhar assumed the charge as the Director of National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) on 12 January 2016. Prof. Gangadhar brings over 30 years of extensive experience in the field of mental health, from both clinical and academic perspectives. He obtained his MBBS degree from the Bangalore Medical College in 1978. He was conferred the prestigious Fellow of National Academy of Medical Sciences (FAMS) degree in 2006 and D.Sc. (Doctor of Science) from SVYASA Yoga University, Bengaluru for his research work on Yoga and Mental Health in 2012. With his primary research interests spanning Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), Schizophrenia, Community Psychiatry, Public Health and Yoga, he has successfully guided nearly 50 MD students and PhD scholars. He has more than 300 research publications in various national and international indexed journals (H-Index-34, RG Score 44.27) to his credit. He is the co-editor of the Asian Journal of Psychiatry (from 2009) and active member of editorial boards of national and international journals. Prof. Gangadhar is the recipient of the coveted Sir CV Raman Award and Doctors Day Award from the Government of Karnataka. He has also shared over 25 awards with other primary recipients.

DR. JAGANNATH DIXIT

Jagannath Dixit is an Indian professor who was named the Bharatiya Janata Party's brand ambassador for its anti-obesity campaign in Maharashtra. Passion for public service motivated him to develop his own improvised ‘Dixit Diet Plan’ which has helped scores of people resist deadly disorders. Selfless service and dedication defines Dr. Dixit. He also chairs additional responsibilities as Head of Department of Community Medicine at Latur Medical College.

DR. RAVINDER SINGAL

Dr. Ravinder Singal is a fitness enthusiast who has completed the Deccan Cliffhanger and the toughest triathlon Ironman. He is an IPS officer currently serving as the IGP, Aurangabad. Along with IPS, he is an excellent academician with half a dozen educational qualifications including a PhD, MBA, BE, MA (Human Rights), Diploma (IT) and Diploma (Journalism and Mass Communication). He has proved his exceptional organizational skills by handling the entire management of Kumbh Mela and Guru Ta Gaddi. Besides serving the motherland, Dr. Singal has contributed to the International Community too through the UN Peace Keeping Mission. He is a versatile personality comprising of Ironman, a thinker, a photographer, an author and a motivational speaker. He has been decorated with numerous awards and honours including the President's Medal for Meritorious service, UN Medal for service with UNMIK, Medal for Danish Contingent march at Kosava, Medal on 50th Independence Day, DGP Insignia. In addition he has more than 80 Commendations and Appreciation letters.

MR. ABRAHAM PATHROSE

Consistent journey in the similar field of Heritage Conservation and Tourism development through practice and academics for 23 long years has finally helped Mr. Abraham Pathrose to be titled at various national projects in India which are International and National level Expert titles honoured to him by the concerend apex body and higher authorities of the related projects. Mr. Abraham Pathrose core Idea as a 22 years old student of graduation then and documenting the massive Historical Gates of the town through his dissertation work titled " City of Gates - Aurangabad" by preparing 158 hand made drawings of the existing gates , was to explore ,document and preserve rich treasured heritage sites of India and portray them further to our next generation for making them aware and educate about of Culture and Heritage, to showcase as to where we belong to or rather come from through our ancestral and historical past. Apart from his zeal , he was also blessed with a vision then and had coined a unique title in the books of general knowledge i.e "City of Gates- Aurangabad" which now is being commonly used to address the city.

MR. NIKHIL MALHOTRA

Nikhil Malhotra is the global head of innovation and creator of Maker’s Lab, a unique Thin-q-bator space within TechMahindra with over 20 years of experience. He has been working with TechMahindra for the past 11 years and is now leading the growth of AI and machine learning within the organization. In his present avatar he focuses on artificial intelligence, quantum computing, robotics and mixed reality. Nikhil’s area of personal research has been natural language processing, enabling machines to talk the way humans do. He lives by a dream of creating smart machines that would wed human emotions with artificial intelligence to make lives better. One of his visions is to enable machines to talk in local Indian dialect. He holds a masters degree in computing with specialization in distributed computing from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne.

MS. RAVIJA SINGAL

Ms. Ravija Singal is the youngest Asian Woman to brag the prestigious title of the toughest triathlon Ironman. She has the completed the triathlon in a record time of 16:05:45. She is also the Half Iron Lady Champion. She is an athlete with exceptional national level swimming skills. She is a national gold medallist in swimming. She has been honoured with the prestigious Asmita Puraskar by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and renowned actor Akshay Kumar. Along with fitness, Ms. Ravija leads on the academic fronts tooas a student of psychology. .

Ms. VIDISHA BALIYAN

Vidisha Baliyan is an Indian female deaf model, beauty pageant contestant and a former retired tennis player. Defying all the odds, the young and talented Ms. Vidisha Baliyan is the first ever Indian to brag the prestigious crown of Miss Deaf World 2019. She was also the winner of Miss Deaf India title for the same year. Apart from her splendid achievements in the beauty pageant world, she has also marked her presence in the field of sports. She stood 5th in the Deaflympics in lawn tennis. In addition to this Ms. Vidisha is an excellent athlete in tennis and basketball with around a dozen of national level awards in tennis. Ms. Vidisha has been facilitated as the Indian Icon for Social Service and Glamour. She is a true inspiration for every one of us.
