Carrie Gurley is an international expert in the specialized field of trauma recovery and post trauma resiliency for victims of human trafficking. Since 2011, she has developed protocols and standards in this space and her programs are used in prevention, education and restoration services around the world.
In 2016 she founded the non-profit Valiant Hearts which has served victims in the Dallas Fort Worth area as well as several other nations. In 2017, she established the first long term aftercare program for victims of sex trafficking in Scotland. In 2018, she opened the first emergency housing program for sex trafficked victims in Texas. Over the course of her career, she has provided advisory services in the United States as well as India, the Philippines and Iraq.
Carrie’s programs are currently being employed in Scotland, Iraq and the United States. She has also trained and advised members of government, law enforcement, education, the medical community, churches, and NGOs.
President: One in Christ Jesus International Ministries
Evan currently serves as the president of One in Christ Jesus International Ministries, a para-church ministry devoted to training, developing, and mentoring emerging and experienced leaders in the church and business community worldwide. A fellow at The Hendricks Center for Christian Leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS), his passion lies in the areas of organizational design, leadership development and making disciples. His experience has led him to the educational sector as a teacher, coach and administrator; in the corporate sector as a Petroleum Engineer and manager, and in the ministerial realm as a teacher, preacher and leadership developer.

John Luke is a true entrepreneur having successfully started and managed multiple businesses, and is a regular speaker at various business leadership conferences across the U.S. John Luke is a graduate of Texas A&M University and holds a Bachelors of Business Administration. He serves on the Board of Directors at Liberty Christian School and works with multiple charities and non-profit organizations around the metroplex. He and his wife Courtney enjoy spending time with their four children, “The Broadway Star,” “The Jumper,” “The Princess," and the “Wrecking Crew.”
Kim Lowack
Kim is an Occupational Therapist practicing in an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic in Colleyville, Texas. Her specialization is with Reflex Integration and all the effects it has on the life span of the child. Kim is an expert in child development and in addressing functional skill acquisition in all aspects of a child’s life.
Computer Science Teacher/Aid Worker
Tom is a high school computer science teacher who also founded an aid organization that serves children in need all over the world. He has worked at high schools and colleges for 20 years and believes that empowering students with the reality of who they are and what they can accomplish is more important than any specific subject matter. In addition, Tom has worked bringing food, clothing, medical care and other necessities to children across the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America.
