In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aina Font

Journalist

Aina Font Torra was born in Manresa on March 20, 1991. She studied journalism at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. While attending the race, he collaborated in the youth talk of the radio show "La Ventana", of the SER Chain, as well as in the local magazine El pozo de la hen and in the territorial edition of Bages and Moianès del NacióDigital, where he has been working for five years now. In addition, he was, for ten years, secretary of Òmnium Bages-Moianès. Currently, and with the desire to learn more about the relationship between body-mind-emotions, he is taking the degree to be a yoga teacher, and he already teaches everything. His life has been marked by the illness of his mother, who ended her enduent in August 2013. Together with Lluïsa, he undertook, in May of four years ago, a literary and adventure adventure life that led them to engender the book "Flowers on the table", which shows the story of constant improvement of both.

Eloi Vila

Ecomist, traveller and sportist

I started making a lot of mountain and traveling at age 19, and since then, I have tried almost all the sports that are done in the mountains. Now I usually practice mountain skiing, mountaineering, mountain climbing, climbing and biking. I made summits in almost every continent (this year I go to Oceania and I could already say all ...) On a professional scale: Compulsory studies in Manresa, Economics at the UAB. I started a doctorate in economic analysis at the UAB but I did not like it and I left it. Master in management and financial management by EAE UPC. In EAE I was hired to begin teaching at university centers of the UAB and UB and also as an assistant professor at EUNCET. I left for change of regulations and obligation to have a minimum of professors with doctorates. Last year I started as a substitute professor of economics in La Salle. At the same time, I have always been working in family businesses, which is where I have spent more time in a strong growth project.

Lluïsa Albadalejo

Fighter of life

Lluïsa Albaladejo Ferrer was born on October 18, 1963 in the Bagenc municipality of El Pont de Vilomara. They always liked children, and from a very young age the vocation of being a teacher was awakened, a training he studied for five years. His life, however, had other plans: with 35 years he was surprised with cancer that is still now accompanied by various parts of the body. As a result of the illness, she claims that she has twice been born again: on October 11, 2006 and June 8, 2010. Her oncological process -which still lasts- has made her discover a world of therapies complementary to keep the mind and body healthy and strong. Among others, he is a teacher of reiki, reflexologist and guide meditations. His vital motto is to be happy. The book "Flowers on the table" explains their vital experience of overcoming.

Maria Rodó

Feminist and research activist

Maria Rodó Zárate (Manresa, 1986) is a feminist and research activist at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Doctor in Geography, his research focuses on the study of social inequalities from an emotional and spatial perspective that takes into account different forms of discrimination such as gender, sexual orientation, origin, age, the nationality or the social class. He has done research stays in the United States, Brazil and Ireland and has developed new methodologies to analyze and visualize the different forms of injustice that occur in everyday life.

He is currently working in Sweden for the International Youth Initiative Program, accompanying young people from 14 different nationalities to discover their potential in the service of a more caring world. He is also co-facilitator to Percolab, an international co-design and co-facilitation firm.

He is fond of cinema and music and enjoys nature.
