Anil Abraham
Dermatologist+Director+Improv artist
Dr. Anil Abraham is the former Professor and Head of Dermatology at St. John’s Medical College. He won the Pope Paul Award for Best Graduate and the Katariya Gold Medal for Best Postgraduate with over 11 University Gold Medals. He subsequently trained at Stanford University , USA and was also a Rotary Exchange student to Birmingham. He has more than thirty years of teaching experience and has often been voted among the best teachers of the institution.
He has simultaneously indulged in his passion for theatre with performances with the likes of Girish Karnad’s Tughlaq and the ART production of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream.
He has written and directed the hilarious play ‘ Gentlemen’ which has been performed to full houses in Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkatta and Mumbai. .
Anshu Pandey
Professor
Anshu Pandey did his Masters in Chemistry from IIT-Bombay, and a PhD from the University of Chicago. He works at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. His current interests are in the areas of nano-materials and spectroscopy
Antony Robert
Paediatric and neonatal surgeon
Dr Antony Robert Charles is a paediatric and neonatal surgeon, based in bangalore, working for the KinderSurge Group. He is an alumnus of St Johns where he passed out as the best outgoing student winning the Pope Paul Prize. He continued his Surgical training at the Tata Memorial Hospital in mumbai and finished at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences , New Delhi. Beard Of Harmony is a duo based in Bangalore, composed of Sreejith ‘The Beard’ Nair on vocals and acoustic guitar and Ruben Simon on another vocal and another acoustic guitar. Sreejith’s strident and deep tone handles the ‘main’ vocals that push the lyrics of the music, Ruben’s more reedy, melody-oriented voice usually handles the harmonies, and there are points on their albums where the singing is so clear and the two so locked in that your brain can’t tell that there is more than one incredibly versatile voice.

Additionally, he has also acquired professional skills at delivering NLP techniques (trained under NLP Master Practitioner in Christ University) using hypnosis in therapies (certified and trained under the leadership of the past president, Mrs Radha C Mohan, ISCEH) and training children especially those diagnosed with dyslexia (under DR JP Das, Director, J.P Das Developmental

Kirtana Kumar is an actor, director, dramaturg and an award winning film-maker. She trained and performed as an actor with The Asian-American Theatre Project at The Los Angeles Theatre Centre (LATC) and has a Master’s Degree in European Classics and American Literature. Her abiding interest is in creating new works with her company, Little Jasmine, with an emphasis on indigenous forms, texts, visuals, sounds, ideas used as a lens for contemporary concerns.
Kit Patrick
Philosophy of science, epistemology of law, geology and ethics
Dr Kit Patrick teaches philosophy at Azim Premji University, Bangalore. He was educated at Cambridge and Bristol universities in England, and moved to India two years ago. His main research focuses on how scientists reason. Outside of this, he has interests in economics, law and ethics. In his spare time he runs the History of India podcast.

After completing MBBS in St John's, this religious sister found her calling in a remote village in Uttar Pradesh. Over the past 26 years, she has single-handedly started an entire hospital from scratch. And therefore greatly improved the lives of all the people living in the nearby villages especially the women and children. She is the resident doctor at Our Lady Of Grace's Hospital in Sardhana and is now trained in Obstetrics and gynaecology. She performs all the deliveries, surgeries and ultrasounds for women from 128 neighbouring villages.

Sachin Samson’s life as an artist began in Kochi Kerala, where he used to draw and paint with his father. He soon discovered the discipline he wanted to get into - animation and visual art. Today he is proficient in painting, electronic art, animation, clay and mental sculpting. He aims to improve his sketching and storytelling narratives through his art and discover more about himself.

Smriti has a special interest in caregiver empowerment, addiction issues, global dynamics in drug control policies and health equity, and advocacy for advance medical directives.
