Theme: Take the road less travelled

As one starts in search of destiny, he/she choose different paths. No two will choose the same path in reaching a destination in life. In TEDxIIMLucknowNoidaCampus 2019 edition we are coming with the theme 'Take the Road Less Traveled'. We shall host those speakers, who has traveled those unique paths, not just to learn how they reached there, but also to find the purpose of the journey.

Aarav started painting when he was three and ever since he has taken his artistic capabilities forward growing by leaps and bounds every year, and what started as a mere hobby has now bloomed into a passion that could compete with big names in the art world. With over 400 works spanning over nine years, solo art exhibitions and live painting shows with Indian Sitar maestro – Ustad Shujaat Khan & ace flutist – ParasNath, will make his artistic talent different from children’s art that we see in general.

Dr Vartika Nanda

Prison Reformer and Head of the Dept for Journalism in LSR College

Vartika Nanda is an Indian prison reformer and media educator. She is the founder of Tinka Tinka, a movement on prison reforms. She has received the Stree Shakti Puraskar award, the highest civilian honour for women in India. Her work on prison reforms have been given a special place in the Limce Book of Records twice. Vartika Nanda is the Head of the Department for Journalism in Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi University. Formerly, she was also the first Executive Producer of Lok Sabha TV. She began her career as a reporter in Zee India. Later on, she became the head of crime beat in NDTV. She was the first woman crime reporter on electronic media in India.

Dr. Partap Chauhan is an author, public speaker, TV personality and master Ayurvedic physician. He currently serves as the Director of Jiva Ayurveda and spearheads all its medical and pharmaceutical activities. His TV shows, which are broadcast on leading channels such as Sanskar, Care World TV, News 24, Darshan 24, Mahua TV and ETV UP have a consolidated viewership of more than 50 million people. As one of the most traveled Ayurvedic physicians in the world, Dr. Chauhan has been dedicating himself to popularizing Ayurveda across the globe since 1992, having given consultations and conducted workshops and lectures in over 50 countries.

Kanishk Gaur

Kanishk Gaur is the founder of Think Tank “India Future Foundation” where he leads initiatives to drive change on public policies relating to Digital, Technology and Cyber security with aim to foster and build Digital Ecosystems which guarantee Freedom of Expression, Trust and Safety for users. Kanishk was awarded the Chevening Commonwealth Fellowship in 2018 for his work on Cyber Security and Technology.

Mayank Midha

Founder & CEO, M3 Toilet Resources India Pvt Ltd (GARV Toilets)

Mayank Midha is Unilever Young Entrepreneurs Award Winner 2018. He completed his post graduation in rural management from IRMA, Anand and is a successful entrepreneur in public sanitation. The business manufactures indestructible stainless steel toilets, powered by solar panels and equipped with bio-digester tanks so they can be positioned where there is no wastewater infrastructure.
