We at TEDxYouth@Saravanampatti believe in innovation through introspection aided by the able examples put forth by the driven members of the community. Our journey started in July of 2018 and we have taken the step in this wonderful journey of spreading ideas. There is a lot to do and only saying isn’t any good. We hope for change and are sure that change begins here.

Cibhi Selvan, an Indian graduate after working in the States returned to India and founded Regeno Ventures Private Limited. He invented starch based biodegradable plastic bags to solve the crisis of the ocean and the world.

Mrs. Deepa Mohanraj, founder of Kaumaram Prashanthi Academy and a passionate mother of a special child brings with her the zeal and the urge to serve the society and mainly to create a positive difference in the lives of children with difficulties.

To a society like ours a doctor is a devine being, they have a touch that heals. One such being is Dr. G Bakthavathsalam, a renowned surgeon of a 50-year reputation. A humble man who has cured people of all walks of life. A healthy human is not just disease free, there is so much more to it. He understood it better than many and set forth creating, building, speaking, educating. Apart from being a doctor, he is a philanthropist, an orator, a leading industrialist, a dedicated teacher, a successful professional, an entrepreneur and an ardent believer in social work.

Sandhya Swaminathan has her way with pencils. Her alive pictures and compelling sketches have gravitated thousands in the society. Not many can leave whatever they are doing and discover their inner calling. She has a story to tell and art to teach.

Saravanan Thyagarajan, founder of Wake our Lake organisation. He didn't just walk away after seeing like many of us do, he thought and set to work. Today many water bodies across three states thank him for their existence.
