Adam Howard
Master Adam Howard earned his bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Dallas as well as an associate degree in liberal arts from Collin County Community College. He went on to complete an ScM in Medical Sciences at Brown University where his work focused on improving screening rates of community health center patients at high risk for diabetic retinopathy.
He has previously served as a junior fellow of The Brain Sciences Foundation and as a logistics officer for Make-a-Mind Co. where he worked with technology startups to support the
application of computational neuroscience to early diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative pathology.
In addition to teaching Taekwondo, Master Howard regularly delivers instruction on leadership, communication, philosophy, and other topics. He also curates the Servant Leadership Community, a group founded in 2017 to promote the values of authenticity, wellness, purpose, and service.
He presently works as a faculty trainer, teacher, coach, and admissions consultant for Kaplan Test Prep whilst completing his medical degree at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine.
Brad Skiles
Brad Skiles is an IT Manager at the University of Texas at Dallas. He is also an adjunct professor of communication at UTD and the coach of the UTD Speech Team. Brad is a former competitive speaker, having won over 100 awards, including state and national championships. Brad is also an experienced martial artist who credits his martial arts training with helping him to survive cancer.
Daniel Krawczyk
Daniel Krawczyk is a Professor of Behavioral and Brain Sciences and holds the Francis Chair in Brain Health at The University of Texas at Dallas. He is also a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He authored the book Reasoning: The Neuroscience of How We Think in 2017, a comprehensive guide to research on human reasoning. He also co-authored a forthcoming book called Understanding Behavioral BIA$ with financial manager George Baxter, a guide to improving financial decisions. His research is focused on understanding reasoning and decision making through a multi-disciplinary approach that combines brain imaging, cognitivepsychology, and studies of individuals who have sustained brain injuries. He has investigated the brain basis of reasoning both healthy people and individuals with disorders including dementia, brain injury, and autism spectrum disorders. He has led multiple Department of Defense-funded research studies evaluating people’s improvements in thinking and cognitive performance. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles and was a Ruth L. Kirschstein Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley.
Dee O'Neill
Dee O’Neill leads Corporate and Executive Solutions for the Brain Performance Institute at the Center for BrainHealth®, under the umbrella of The University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to joining the Brain Performance Institute, she worked in the field of Neuroscience for more than 15 years at nationally recognized research and medical centers.
Dee is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, she graduated from Chaminade University of Honolulu with a Master of Science degree in psychology. Her undergraduate study was in human health and exercise science at the University of Hawaii. Dee is a board certified fellow in EEG Neurotechnology by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance and a HeartMath Certified Trainer. Dee has completed advanced training in Evidence-Based Coaching as well as Foundations of NeuroLeadership.
Dee is a sought-after speaker to diverse audiences including conferences, corporations, and industry events on the topic of optimizing brain health and performance.
John Taden
John Taden, a native of Ghana, is cofounder and president of the Public Policy and Political Economy club and runs social media pages with over 35000 members. He has spoken at multiple conferences around the
country and served on policy related panels, including at Harvard and Washington DC. Taden is also a host and researcher for PEP Talk, a podcast produced by the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences at The University of Texas at Dallas.
