Dr. Güliz Muğan Akıncı obtained her B.S. degree from the Sociology Department of Middle
East Technical University. Then, she got her Master’s and Ph.D. Degree from the field of
Environmental Psychology in Interior Architecture and Environment Design Department of
Bilkent University. In 2009, she completed her post-doctoral study within the scope of a
European Union supported international project. She’s been working as an instructor in
Interior Architecture Department of Okan University since 2010. At the same time she’s been
working as the Vice Dean of Fine Arts Faculty of the university. She has papers and books on
youth behaviours in urban public spaces including shopping malls and streets, the universal
design approach, time use studies and the effects of mobile phone use and survelliance
technologies on urban spaces.

The Master project was awarded the Master Award of Excellence. She started her architectural career in 2007 and she is continuing her career at 2S Workshop, which she founded since 2014. She holds the number of 50386 at the Chamber of Architects.
Vice rector at Istanbul Okan University
Güner Gürsoy is the Vice Rector for Okan University in Istanbul, Turkey. Since receiving his Ph.D. in Business Finance from Bilkent University, Gürsoy gained professional and academic experience in strategic investment budgeting and technology and managerial transformations. Since 1995, Gürsoy has been actively involved in simulation-based experimental learning in education. For the last ten years, he has been in strategic management and leadership roles in distance education units. Currently, Blended Learning has been implemented together with the University Learning Center with the O’Learn concept at Istanbul Okan University.
