Arunan Arivalagan is the Co-Founder of Shapecrunch, a 3D printing and Healthcare tech company, that specializes in making insoles for foot problems. Previously, Arunan spent more than a decade in the USA, earning a Bachelors’ in Biomedical Engineering (UIOWA), and a Masters’ in Bioengineering from the Ivy League, UPENN. Arunan is now trying to change the landscape in the South Asian orthotics space. His vision is to prevent diabetic foot amputations. He involves in patient and physician education, to identify diabetic foot at early stages, and employ the use of customized insoles and footwear to prevent diabetic ulcers and amputations.Arunan has globally expanded his product market and has powered patients’ across: Singapore, USA, Dubai and Malaysia. Arunan is passionate about selling strategies, and his mantra is to “Sell The Problem”, and not the product.
