At the TEDxUlaanbaatarSalon “ENVISIONING THE FUTURE” event we are going to discuss what should our vision be and how we can contribute to shaping a better tomorrow for us and our next generation. One thing is for sure: the journey is best when joined by everyone.

He is a former investment banker with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York and Sydney. Most recently, he was Deputy Director of the Capital Markets Unit of Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi company in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Bulgantuya Khurelbaatar is the Vice Minister of Ministry of Finance. After having completed her high school in Australia, she obtained B.A in Economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, PRC and M.A in International and Development Economics from Yale University, USA.

James A Liotta “Jay” spent his first two years in Mongolia as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer, where he developed a great appreciation for the Mongolian people and their culture. Currently, he is the letterhead partner of the law firm MahoneyLiotta LLP. Both Jay and the firm are ranked Band 1 by Chambers Global and Chambers Asia Pacific. Jay served as Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia (2016-2017), and currently sits on its Board of Directors.

Tsogtbaatar Damdin

Tsogtbaatar Damdin is a member of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia. Since 2017, he has been serving as the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.

Undraa Agvaanluvsan

With her internationally recognised scientific background and career, Undraa Agvaanluvsan is considered to be one of the few female scholars to ever enter politics in Mongolia. Prior to being elected as a Member of Parliament in 2016, Undraa worked as the director of the Strategy Academy, a think-tank that was originally established in 1955.
