Jay served as Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia (2016-2017), and currently sits on its Board of Directors.

Prior to being elected as a Member of Parliament in 2016, Undraa worked as the director of the Strategy Academy, a think-tank that was originally established in 1955.
