Theme: Warrior Within

Rungta College is organizing a TEDxRCET on Wednesday, March 04, 2020, at the Rungta College (RCET - R1), Bhilai. The theme of the event is Warrior Within and the objective is to take stock, introspect and seek feedback by sparking conversation within the community on the future course of action.

The Warrior within us lives in another zone which is an exciting zone that expands from the comfort zone, it lives peacefully in the stretch/learning zone where all the magic happens and that is waiting for you,when you are ready to take action with us on our TEDx event.

Deepak Vohra

Ambassador of India & Special Advisor to PM

Ambassador Vohra started his career as a TV representor on Doordarshan. Among India’s most loved television figures he was short-listed by a woman’s magazine as one of the “most sensational personalities” in India. Dr. Deepak joined the prestigious Indian Foreign Services in 1973. He has been the Ambassador of India to several countries across continents. Ambassador Vohra was also the Officer on Special Duty to the Technology Adviser to the Prime Minister of India. Dr Vohra is the current Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Lesotho and Guinea-Bissau and the Special Advisor to Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Councils, Leh and Kargil. Ambassador Vohra is specialized in developmental issues for emerging nations. In October 2005, Armenia awarded him a gold medal for his contribution to Armenian agriculture and named a school after him. The government of Sudan has given him their highest civilian honour.

Eshan Sadasivan

Entrepreneur

A Social Innovator and IIT Kanpur student, Eshan Sadasivan, designed a product to help underprivileged students study even if they don't have desks and benches. He has made it to the ‘Forbes 30 Under 30 Class of 2020 India’ in the February edition. Eshan and PROSOC’s contributions to society were also recognized internationally. Earlier this year, Eshan won the EO South Asia Regional Qualifiers of the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards. Passionate about improving the lives of people who are less fortunate, Eshan worked to create his business, PROSOC Innovators Pvt Ltd, which develops innovative products and services that positively impact this population. The initial product of PROSOC Innovators is DESKIT, a unique lightweight school bag, combined with an ergonomic, foldable, portable and detachable table. This innovative design solves the challenge of poor learning infrastructures at schools and homes where students need to sit in a hunched-back position to study.

Full Power

Hip-Hop Artist

Full Power (Yungsta and Frappe Ash) is a Delhi based independent Hip Hop duo formed by Yash Chandra and Akshay Rawat in 2018. They have released a number of bangers as both singles and albums independently as well as with labels such as Zee Music Co. The Crew members 'Yungsta' and 'Frappe Ash' hold a degree in Bachelor of Architecture. Along with their architecture practice they are consistently putting out music and are doing shows across the country. As an individual, both of them have a set of two mixtapes each under their belt and also a collaborative EP which led to the creation of Full Power. The music of "Full Power" deals with the celebration of different nuances of life both good and bad with their sound, ever-growing and expanding with scope to experiment with multiple genres but in a way that compliments the true sound of Hip Hop as well.

Pawan Shankar

Pawan Shankar is an Indian television actor who played the title role in the serial Siddhanth on Star One. He holds an MBA in finance from the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad. An alumnus of Allahabad's St. Joseph's College, Shankar graduated with a Gold Medal from Allahabad University. He is a well-known entrepreneur as well and has two companies named Fashionista Fashion & Lifestyle Exhibitions and Educationista Exhibitions. Fashionista Exhibitions provide a platform for designers from all over India to reach out to different cities and expand their reach whereas Educationista provides an admission and counseling platform to schools and district career institutes which helps parents & students in staying updated with modern education avenues, means, and methods.

Rishab Karanwal (Rakazone Gaming)

Gamer and Streamer

Rishab Karanwal AKA Rakazone Gaming, a Gamer and Streamer. He's one of the most popular faces in the digital industry today. He was named as the "Streamer of the Year" in 2018. Despite being in the corporate world, he continued to follow his passion for creating content via Gaming and has built the brand that he has today. He recently left his job from Accenture to make Gaming and Streaming his full-time job and focuses on influencing the gaming community of India.

TJ Bhanu

Model/Actress

TJ Bhanu is one of the most prominent faces in the country’s modeling scene. Hailing from Raipur, She decided to move to Mumbai as she had been working as an artist since she was 16. She was a part of the Saree Campaign for MoMA, The Museum of Modern Art, which depicts 100 different ways in which a saree can be draped and feels that it is one of the biggest honors to have her picture at the MoMA. TJ Bhanu made her debut as an actress with the web series called "The Forgotten Army-Azaadi Ke Liye" on Amazon Prime Video India, directed by the Kabir Khan. She also plans to get her Ph.D. in Hindi Literature and Indian Cinema.
