In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Passionate about the world of publishing, specialising in the management of the processing phase of the published product, she works as an editor in various contexts of the world of journalism and publishing. She deals with the management of points of sale for a large chain of bookshops, deciding in 2018 to open a bookshop with an innovative selection approach based on emotions. More than 4,000 titles subdivided into 70 categories: a colour for each type of suffering, from unrequited love to a crisis of identification, to hypochondria: «curable» symptoms with books marked with a leaflet. Fabio Ferrari

I suoi interessi di ricerca riguardano videogiochi e game studies, le comunità online e le intersezioni fra differenti forme di arte e narrazione nei media. Gabriella Bottini

Neurologa, neuropsicologa, professore ordinario di Psicofisiologia presso il Dipartimento di Scienze del Sistema Nervoso e del Comportamento dell’Università di Pavia, dirige il Centro di Neuropsicologia Cognitiva dell’Ospedale Niguarda di Milano. Nel settore delle Neuroscienze Cognitive studia le alterazioni dell’esplorazione dello spazio e dello schema corporeo, di disturbi cognitivi dell’epilessia e di deterioramento cognitivo. Si interessa dell’interazione delle Neuroscienze con l’ambito del Diritto, dell’Etica e dell’Arte. Membro di diverse società scientifiche e autrice di numerosi articoli pubblicati su riviste scientifiche internazionali e di libri e capitoli di libri incentrati sulle Neuroscienze cognitive. Ama moltissimo leggere, ha una passione speciale per Simenon. Coltiva piante e cucina, prepara il pane con il lievito madre. Corre all’alba in tutte le stagioni e gioca a tennis. ----------

Gabriella Scapicchio

Gabriella Scapicchio Innovator Laureata in economia a Napoli, con un Master in Marketing e Comunicazione alla Luiss, Gabriella ha maturato una lunga esperienza nel marketing di aziende leader di mercato in differenti settori merceologici, dalla ristorazione autostradale alle assicurazioni. Per 15 anni in Agos, una delle BU nel gruppo Crédit Agricole, dove ha percorso tutta la carriera nel marketing prima di approdare circa 3 anni fa alla nuova divisione aziendale dedicata all’innovazione, di cui è stata responsabile fino alla fine del 2018. Qui ha costruito da zero, come una vera e propria “startup”, la macchina dell’innovazione a servizio dell’azienda, che via via si è arricchita di persone e di progetti fino ad avere, dopo 2 anni, un processo di Open Innovation e di incubazione interna chiaro e delineato. A fine 2017 le è stata offerta la lead del progetto per l’apertura del Village by Credit Agricole a Milano, un vero e proprio ecosistema dell’innovazione già presente a Parigi, che a novembre 2018 ha aperto 2700 m2 nel centro di Milano. Gabriella è stata nominata “sindaco” (direttore), del Village, in cui si è già insediata dalla sua apertura. Grande appassionata di viaggi insoliti ed avventurosi, a cui coniuga la passione per il diving e la fotografia, ama la cucina, lo sport e ovviamente l'innovazione in tutte le sue forme. --- Graduate in economics at Napoli, with a Master in Marketing and Communication at Luiss University, Gabriella has acquired extensive experience in the marketing of market leader companies in different sectors, from motorway catering to insurance. She worked for 15 years in Agos, one of the Business Units of the Crédit Agricole Group, where she pursued her career exclusively in marketing before joining the new company division dedicated to innovation around 3 years ago, which she was in charge of until the end of 2018. Here she built up from scratch, as a veritable “start-up”, an innovation machine at the service of the company, which gradually attracted people and projects until achieving, after 2 years, a clear and defined Open Innovation and internal incubation process. At the end of 2017 she was offered the leadership of the project for the opening of the Crédit Agricole Village in Milan, a genuine innovation ecosystem already present at Paris, which in November 2018 opened 2700 sq.m in the centre of Milan. Gabriella has been appointed “mayoress” (director) of the Village, where she has worked since its opening. She’s a great enthusiast of unusual and adventurous travel, together with a passion for diving and photography; she loves cooking, sport and, obviously, innovation in all its forms.

Gino Roncaglia

E' professore associato presso l’Università degli Studi della Tuscia, dove insegna Editoria digitale e Informatica umanistica. Fra il 1984 e il 1996 è stato documentarista bibliotecario alla Camera dei Deputati, occupandosi dei primi progetti di digitalizzazione dell'archivio storico. Autore di numerosi saggi sul settore dei nuovi media (editoria digitale, e-learning e usi culturali della rete) e sulla storia della logica modale fra il medioevo e Leibniz, è fra gli esperti che hanno partecipato alla stesura del Piano Nazionale Scuola Digitale e collabora da tempo con RAI Cultura nella realizzazione di trasmissioni televisive dedicate al rapporto fra cultura e nuovi media. È membro del gruppo di esperti italiani nominati dal MIUR per il programma europeo Horizon2020 (SC6) ed è stato membro del comitato biblioteche e istituti culturali del MIBACT. È professore onorario della Universidad Nacional de Villa María in Argentina. Si occupa da tempo anche di letteratura di fantascienza, settore al quale ha dedicato alcuni articoli (in italiano e in inglese) e qualche racconto. Gioca a scacchi, e nel 1997 ha seguito per conto della RAI la seconda e ultima sfida fra Kasparov e il computer IBM Deep Blu. --- He’s associate professor at the University of Tuscia, where he teaches Digital Publishing and Humanities Computing. Between 1984 and 1996 he was librarian-documentarian of the Chamber of Deputies, dealing with the first projects to digitalise the historical archives. Author of numerous essays on the new media (digital publishing, e-learning and cultural uses of the Internet) and on the history of modal logic from the middle ages to Leibniz, and is one of the experts that took part in the drawing up of the National Digital School Plan and has cooperated for some time with RAI Cultura in the development of television programmes dedicated to the relationship between culture and the new media. He’s a member of the group of Italian experts appointed by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research for the European Horizon2020 (SC6) programme and has been a member of the libraries and cultural institutes committee of MIBACT (Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities). He’s honorary professor of the Universidad Nacional de Villa María in Argentina. He has been involved for some time in the literature of science fiction, a sector to which he has dedicated a number of articles (in Italian and in English) and also some stories. He plays chess, and in 1997 followed for RAI the second and last match between Kasparov and the IBM computer Deep Blue.

Giorgio Ficcarelli

Esploratore del mondo e delle diversità, Giorgio Ficcarelli dirige la Sezione Cultura e Dialogo Interculturale all'interno della Direzione Generale per la Cooperazione Internazionale e lo Sviluppo della Commissione Europea a Bruxelles. Diplomatico europeo e specialista della dimensione culturale dello sviluppo e delle relazioni internazionali dell'Unione Europea, ha diretto i servizi di cooperazione in varie Delegazioni dell'Unione Europea nel mondo, in particolare essendo responsabile dell'attività di preadesione di paesi dell'Europa orientale come Repubblica Ceca, Slovacchia e Romania . Si è anche occupato del partenariato euro-mediterraneo come Capo Cooperazione alla Delegazione UE a Beirut nonché della cooperazione con Uganda e la Comunità dell'Africa Orientale come primo consigliere della delegazione UE a Kampala, dove tra altre cose ha anche fondato il Festival di Cinema Euro-Africano. Precedentemente è stato anche funzionario all'interno del sistema delle Nazioni Unite (UNDP e UNIDO) in Uruguay e Argentina. E' stato responsabile del lancio della Settimana del Patrimonio Audiovisivo Europeo nonché dell'Iniziativa della Commissione Europea "Visionary Africa: Art at Work" coinvolgendo varie capitali africane. Collabora a varie riviste e ha fatto parte di varie giurie di Festival Internazionali e organizzato vari Festival di Cinema Europeo in differenti paesi. --- Explorer of the world and its diversity, Giorgio Ficcarelli directs the Culture and Intercultural Dialogue Section in the Directorate General for International Cooperation and Development of the European Commission in Brussels. A European diplomat and specialist in the cultural aspects of development and international relations of the European Union, he has directed cooperation areas in various Delegations of the European Union in the world, in particular, as the head of pre-membership activities of eastern European countries such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania. He has also dealt with Euro-Mediterranean partnership as Cooperation Head of the EU Delegation in Beirut, as well as cooperation with Uganda and the East Africa Community as top advisor of the EU delegation to Kampala where, among other things, he also founded the Euro-African Film Festival. He was previously also an official in the United Nations system (UNDP and UNIDO) in Uruguay and Argentina. He was responsible for the launch of the European Audiovisual Heritage Week and the Initiative of the European Commission, "Visionary Africa: Art at Work", involving various African capitals. He contributes to various magazines, has participated in several international festival juries and has organised various European Cinema festivals in different countries.

José De La Rosa Morón

José De La Rosa Morón Gastronomic Scientist Biologo assorbito dalla gastronomia e dalle scienze che lo circondano, con grande affinità con la neurofisiologia e la microbiologia. Studente di laurea magistrale in Scienze Gastronomiche del Basque Culinary Centre come nesso di unione tra il suo background e ciò che ama davvero. Appassionato di Design del prodotto e Food Design. Gastronomia come soluzione per problemi sociali. Mentre lavorava come chef, ha imparato a lavorare sotto pressione e la cosa più importante, ha imparato a generare e ad evocare il buonumore in un'atmosfera stressante. Attualmente lavora presso il Future Food Institute dove gestisce il Food Alchemist Lab, coltivando microrganismi, arricchendo il portafoglio di Welldone Restaurants. ---- A biologist absorbed by gastronomy and by the sciences that surround him, with a particular interest in neurophysiology and microbiology. A Master’s degree in gastronomic Sciences at the Basque Culinary Centre links his background with what he truly loves. He’s an enthusiast of Product Design and Food Design. He sees gastronomy as a solution for social problems. While working as a chef, he learned to work under pressure and, most importantly, he learned to generate and evoke good humour in a stressful atmosphere. He currently works at the Future Food Institute where he manages the Food Alchemist Lab, cultivating micro-organisms and enhancing the portfolio of Welldone Restaurants.

Kent Skov Andreasen

Kent Skov Andreasen è direttore della biblioteca pubblica di Odense in Danimarca. Ha studiato letteratura nordica e lingua all'Università del sud della Danimarca ed ha conseguito la laurea in Scienze librarie presso la Royal School of Library Science in Copenaghen nel 1984. E’ membro della "Danish Library Association" da quando era studente. Dal 1996 ha partecipato al Comitato per gli affari internazionali dell'associazione. Le sue principali aree di interesse sono le biblioteche in un contesto internazionale e la promozione e lo sviluppo di servizi di biblioteche pubbliche e valori in generale, compresa l'attuazione dei nuovi media digitali e la garanzia del libero flusso di informazioni da e verso il Cittadini. E’ membro di diverse tavole che promuovono nuovi media digitali in un contesto pubblico. E’ un membro attivo della Federazione Internazionale delle Associazioni di Biblioteche e delle Istituzioni Informative (IFLA) da molti anni ed è stato eletto per il comitato permanente nella sezione delle biblioteche pubbliche e fa parte del Consiglio direttivo dell'IFLA 2010-2017. Conosce il lavoro e l'impostazione dall'interno di una sezione ed ha esperienza con le strategie e i progetti IFLA. Ha pubblicato documenti, fatto presentazioni e sessioni agevolate presso l'IFLA WLIC e in altre istituzioni e Università in Danimarca e all'estero. Oltre alle attività nelle organizzazioni bibliotecarie, ha avuto l'incarico di Presidente e di membro del Consiglio regionale della televisione di Funen (TV2 Fyn) per diversi anni e sono stato membro del Consiglio per cortometraggi e documentari al Danish Film Institute. Sposato, ha 3 figli adulti, vive nel cuore di Odense in Danimarca. Ha un ampio interesse per la cultura in generale, la musica e il cinema e frequenta concerti, Festival, teatri e altre attività culturali. E’ inoltre revisore della letteratura classica e moderna. --- Kent Skov Andreasen is director of the public library of Odense in Denmark. He studied Nordic literature and languages at the University of Southern Denmark and obtained a degree in library science at the Royal School of Library Science in Copenhagen in 1984. He’s been a member of the "Danish Library Association" since he was a student. Since 1996 he’s been on the association’s committee for foreign affairs. His main areas of interest are libraries in an international context and the promotion and development of public services and values in general, including the implementation of new digital media and the guarantee of the free flow of information from and to citizens. He’s a member of various boards that promote new digital media in a public context. He’s been an active member of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) for many years, is an elected member on the permanent committee in the public library section and was on the IFLA’s management committee from 2010 to 2017. He knows the work and approach from the inside of a section of the IFLA and has experience with its strategies and projects. He’s published documents, has made presentations and given sessions at the IFLA WLIC and in other institutions and Universities in Denmark and abroad. Besides his activities in library organisations, he has held the role of Chairman and member of the Regional Board of the Funen television station (TV2 Fyn) for several years and has been a member of the Board for short films and documentaries at the Danish Film Institute. Married, with 3 adult children, he lives in the heart of Odense in Denmark. He has a broad interest in culture in general, music and cinema and goes to concerts, festivals, theatres and takes part in other cultural activities. He’s also a reviewer of classic and modern literature.

Marco Muscogiuri

Marco Muscogiuri è architetto e professore associato al Politecnico di Milano, nella Scuola di Architettura, Urbanistica e Ingegneria delle Costruzioni. Originario di Lecce, ha studiato architettura a Milano dove nel 1995, a 23 anni, ha fondato assieme ad altri tre giovani colleghi, la società di progettazione Alterstudio partners (www.alterstudiopartners.com) con cui negli anni ha realizzato progetti per committenti pubblici e privati e partecipato a concorsi nazionali e internazionali, conseguendo premi e segnalazioni. Vent’anni fa si è appassionato alla progettazione delle biblioteche e dei luoghi della cultura, e ha iniziato ad approfondire questi temi sia a livello progettuale sia a livello teorico, pubblicando libri e articoli sul tema, e facendosi promotore di un nuovo modello di biblioteca pubblica, pensata anzitutto come luogo innovativo di socialità culturale, di inclusione e coesione sociale. È autore di progetti, consulenze, studi di fattibilità, linee guida e programmi funzionali per decine di biblioteche e centri culturali in tutta Italia, tra cui: la MedaTeca di Meda (MB), finalista per la Medaglia d'Oro all'Architettura Italiana 2012; le Biblioteche di Melzo (MI), di Pergine Valsugana e di Comano Terme (TN); la Biblioteca dell’Università di Pavia; il Laboratorio Formentini per l’Editoria a Milano e il Museo dei Popoli e delle Culture di Milano; il progetto del Museo del Gioco e del Giocattolo di Roma. Marco Muscogiuri is an architect and associate professor at the Politecnico Milano University, in the School of Architecture, Urban Planning and Construction Engineering. Originally from Lecce, he studied architecture in Milan where in 1995, at 23 years of age, he founded, with three other young colleagues, the Alterstudio (www.alterstudiopartners.com) design partnership with which over the years he has carried out projects for public and private clients and participated in national and international competitions, receiving awards and mentions. Twenty years ago he discovered a passion for designing libraries and cultural venues, and began to study these themes both at a project and theoretical level, publishing books and articles on the theme, and promoting a new model of the public library conceived, first of all, as an innovative space of cultural sociability, inclusion and social cohesion. He’s the author of projects, consultancy, feasibility studies, guidelines and functional programmes for dozens of libraries and cultural centres throughout Italy, including: MedaTeca in Meda (MB), finalist for the Golden Medal for Italian Architecture 2012; the Libraries of Melzo (MI), Pergine Valsugana and Comano Terme (TN); the Library of the University of Pavia; the Formentini Laboratory for Publishing in Milan and the Museo dei Popoli e delle Culture (Museum of Peoples and Cultures) in Milan; the Museo del Gioco e del Giocattolo (Museum of Games and Toys) project in Rome. He’s the author of numerous publications on the design of cultural places and architectural design. Riccardo Lucio Agostini

Nato a Milano 54 anni fa, vive a Monza e lavora a Parma da 13 anni. La tecnologia ed il software sono la sua grandissima passione fin da ragazzo: ha cominciato a lavorare con i primi Commodore 64 a 17 anni. Programmava nella sua cameretta, ascoltava Vita spericolata di Vasco Rossi (la sua canzone preferita da sempre) sognando di avere una vita spericolata… con il software. I suoi sogni si sono realizzati, ha fondato a 22 anni la sua software house insieme a suo fratello Fabio e si è laureato al politecnico di Milano. Ha creato una piattaforma di e-procurement bancario che ha conquistato il 60% del mercato in soli 4 anni rivoluzionando completamente la loro supply chain. Nel suo ultimo progetto ha creato in pochi anni l’ecosistema piu’ frequentato del mondo dell’educazione in Italia. Oggi è Amministratore Delegato del Gruppo Spaggiari Parma, società leader nel mondo dell’education in Italia. Nel 2006 ho scelto questa azienda per accompagnare idealmente nel percorso scolastico la sua piccola Margherita, che iniziava in quei giorni la scuola materna. Oltre a questa carica, ricopre il ruolo di Amministratore Delegato in varie aziende attive nel mondo dell’educazione tra le quali Bambini, editore delle riviste e dei libri del fondatore degli asili di Reggio Children; è membro della fondazione Chiaravalle Montessori. Nel tempo libero coltiva le sue grandi passioni: musica, lettura, cinema, fotografia e architettura di giardini. Appena può trascorre i weekend a sciare e le vacanze in viaggio con la sua famiglia. Technology and software have been his great passion since he was a boy: he began to work with the first Commodore 64s at 17 years of age. He would programme in his bedroom, listening to Vita spericolata by Vasco Rossi (it’s always been his favourite song) dreaming of leading “a reckless life” … with software. His dreams came true; at 22 years of age he founded his own software house together with his brother Fabio and graduated at Milan Polytechnic. He created a banking e-procurement platform that acquired 60% of the market in just 4 years, completely revolutionising the supply chain. In his latest project he has created in just a few years the most popular educational ecosystem in Italy. Today he is CEO of the Gruppo Spaggiari in Parma, a leader in education in Italy. In 2006 he chose this company to accompany in the best way possible his little Margherita, who began infant school at the time. Besides this role, he is also CEO in various companies operating in the world of education, including Bambini; he’s editor of journals and books of the founder of the Reggio Children nursery schools; he’s a member of the Chiaravalle Montessori foundation. In his free time he cultivates his great passions: music, reading, cinema, photography and garden architecture. Rocco Saldutti

Nato a Bari nel 1960, vive ad Acquaviva delle Fonti dove svolge il lavoro di pediatra di famiglia. Da ragazzo ha praticato nuoto e pallanuoto a livello agonistico ed è stato stato primatista regionale. Sin da piccolo amava leggere soprattutto fumetti, oggi ama, in particolar modo la storia contemporanea. Nel 1987 ha conseguito, con il massimo dei voti, la laurea in medicina e chirurgia per poi conseguire il diploma di specializzazione in pediatria; negli anni successivi ha frequentato i corsi per il perfezionamento nelle discipline di neonatologia , di nefrologia e di dermatologia pediatrica. Ha sempre ritenuto l’attività fisica e lo sport importanti per la salute e il benessere e strumento di coesione sociale. Dal 2002 al 2008 è stato medico sociale a titolo non oneroso della ASTRHA BARI, società di Basket in carrozzina per portatori di handicap, partecipante ai campionati nazionali di serie A e A2 e promotrice dell’integrazione sociale e sportiva dei soggetti portatori di handicap. La passione per la lettura lo ha portato a partecipare, nel dicembre 2007, all’evento di formazione promosso dalla ARES Puglia “Promozione della lettura ai bambini in epoca precoce”. Ha aderito al Progetto Nati per Leggere, che sensibilizza e cura incontri per la formazione alla lettura dei genitori dei bambini sul tema dell’importanza della lettura quale opportunità imprescindibile per lo sviluppo psico fisico del bambino e dei genitori. Da venti anni svolge attività di lettura condivisa in ambulatorio e sono presidente dell’Associazione culturale “ Il Circolo del Grillo Parlante” che si occupa di salute, cultura e letteratura per l’infanzia e promuove sul territorio la passione per la lettura e altre attività creative. Nel 1999 ho conseguito il titolo di Animatore di formazione permanente per la Pediatria di libera scelta della regione Puglia e si occupa di formazione e aggiornamento dei pediatri della asl Bari, è, inoltre, referente della provinciale per la alimentazione in età pediatrica della ASL BA. Dal 2015 è istruttore nazionale PBLS (pediatric base life support ) della SIMEUP (società italiana medicina emergenze urgenza pediatrica) di cui è anche Consigliere regionale per la Puglia, partecipando a corsi e manifestazioni di sensibilizzazione organizzati sul territorio sul tema delle manovre di disostruzione e rianimazione nell’ambito del progetto nazionale della SIMEUP: “Una manovra per la vita”. Si è specializzato sui temi della violenza e abuso sui minori e sono stato referente GIADA (gruppo interdisciplinare assistenza donne e bambini abusati) per il territorio di Acquaviva delle fonti nell’ambito della rete regionale di contrasto agli abusi e maltrattamenti commessi sui bambini. --- Born in Bari in 1960, he lives in Acquaviva delle Fonti where he practices as a family paediatrician. He’s been swimming and playing water polo at a competitive level since he was a boy and was a regional record holder. He’s loved reading since he was a child, when he particularly liked comics. Today, above all, he loves contemporary history. In 1987 he obtained a degree in medicine and surgery with maximum marks and then obtained the specialisation diploma in paediatrics; in the following years he attended specialisation courses in neonatology, nephrology and paediatric dermatology. He has always considered physical activity and sport important for health and wellbeing and a means of social cohesion. From 2002 to 2008 he was the unpaid team doctor of ASTRHA BARI, the wheelchair basketball company for the disabled, which took part in the series A and A2 national championships and is a promotor of social and sporting integration of the disabled. His passion for reading led him to participate, in December 2007, in the training event promoted by ARES Puglia “Promozione della lettura ai bambini in epoca precoce” (Promoting reading to children in early age). He took part in the Nati per Leggere (Born to Read) Project, which promotes awareness and organises meetings for training of parents in reading to children on the theme of the importance of reading as a fundamental opportunity for the psycho-physical development of the child and of the parents. He has been involved in shared reading in the clinic and is president of the cultural association “Il Circolo del Grillo Parlante” (The Jiminy Cricket Club) which deals with health, culture and literature for infancy and promotes a passion for reading and other creative activities in the territory. In 1999 he was assigned the role of permanent training organiser for family Paediatrics in the Puglia Region and deals with the training and updating of paediatricians in the Bari Health Authority; he is also the contact person in the provincial council of the Bari Health Authority for nutrition in paediatric age. He has been a national PBLS (paediatric base life support) instructor of SIMEUP (società italiana medicina emergenze urgenza pediatrica – Italian medical association of paediatric emergencies and urgencies) of which he is also regional Director for Puglia, participating in awareness courses and events organised in the territory on the theme of airway obstruction and resuscitation manoeuvres as part of the national SIMEUP project: “A manoeuvre for life”. He is specialised in themes of violence and abuse against minors and has been a GIADA (gruppo interdisciplinare assistenza donne e bambini abusati - interdisciplinary group assisting abused women and children) contact person for the Acquaviva territory as part of the regional network for combatting abuses and mistreatments committed against children.

Sofia Viscardi

Sofia Viscardi è nata nel 1998 e in quinta elementare era già iscritta a facebook. Attraverso i video artigianali caricati su YouTube Sofia è diventata velocemente un punto di riferimento per i suoi coetanei che l’hanno accompagnata attraverso l'adolescenza. I suoi due romanzi sono best seller generazionali, ma se inizialmente erano soltanto i coetanei a leggerla, pian piano sono arrivati i genitori che hanno usato le sue storie come chiave per capire il mondo dei loro figli. Perché ormai la distanza tra chi è nato prima dell’avvento di internet e chi è nato dopo si è ampliata al punto da rendere difficile la reciproca comprensione. Sofia traduce, accorcia le distanze. Traduce il suo mondo per gli adulti, e il mondo degli adulti per i suoi coetanei, come ha fatto intervistando Saviano sul suo canale YouTube a soli sedici anni, e lo fa con la stessa facilità con cui da un mezzo tecnologico come YouTube è passata allo scrivere romanzi, e poi a trarne un film, dimostrandosi fluida nel parlare le lingue di entrambe le generazioni. Sofia oggi ha 20 anni, studia filosofia in Statale a Milano e a febbraio 2019 lancia il suo nuovo progetto editoriale VENTI. Venti, che prende vita dal suo canale YouTube, è un magazine in formato video, un hard disk, una dispensa di pensieri, testimonianze e approfondimenti, il cui obiettivo è esplorare con un tono curioso ed empatico cosa significhi avere (o sentirsi) vent’anni oggi, attraverso una serie di format tra cui interviste, mini documentari culturali e spiegazioni dei fenomeni del momento. Tra i format del canale già lanciati: “168 ore”, “Te lo spiego facile”, “Studia con me” e “Sopra le righe”. È una di quelle persone che canta ai concerti facendosi sgridare dagli altri spettatori, motivo per cui appena può scappa a fare kitesurf e a cantare ad alta voce in mezzo al mare. --- Sofia Viscardi was born in 1998 and had already registered with Facebook when she was in the fifth year of primary school. Through homemade videos uploaded onto YouTube, Sofia quickly became a point of reference for her peers who have stayed with her through her teenage years. Her two novels are generational bestsellers, but while only her peers read her in the beginning, parents also gradually started to use her stories as a key to understanding their children’s world. That’s because today the distance between those born before the advent of the Internet and those born after has grown to such an extent as to make mutual understanding very difficult. Sofia translates and bridges gaps. She translates her world for adults, and the world of adults for her peers, as she did, for example, interviewing Saviano on her YouTube channel at only 16 years of age. She does all this with the same ease as when she passed from a technological tool such as YouTube to writing novels, and then to creating a film from them, demonstrating fluidity in speaking the languages of both generations. Sofia today is 20 years old; she’s studying philosophy at Milan University and in February 2019 she launched her new editorial project VENTI. Venti, which started life on her YouTube channel, is a magazine in video form, a hard disk, a storeroom of thoughts, accounts and analyses, the objective of which is to explore in a curious and empathetic way what it means to be (or feel) twenty years old today, through a series of formats including interviews, mini-documentaries and explanations of the issues of the day. The formats of the channel already launched include: “168 ore” (168 hours), “Te lo spiego facile” (I’ll explain it to you in simple terms), “Studia con me” (Study with me) and “Sopra le righe” (Over the top). She’s one of those people who sing at concerts, and then is told off by the other spectators; this is the reason why as soon as she can she escapes to do some kitesurfing and sing at the top of her voice in the open sea. ---
