Adrian Hădean

Adrian Hadean is one of the most known and appreciated chefs in Romania. He had the first job at the age of 17, in the radio. He continued with a career in television, as a producer of culinary shows on Antena 1, Euforia TV, TVR, Trilulilu and in the press, is the author of hundreds of articles in daily newspapers, weekly and magazines. After retiring from the press, Adrian Hădean dedicated himself to his passion for a lifetime - cooking, becoming a professional chef, restaurant consultant and culinary blogger. In 2003, Adrian Hadean published his first book, "Salt and pepper", which was followed by "Recipes for a family Christmas" (2012) and "# 24 centimeters" (2016). Between 2014-2016, Adrian Hădean was part of the Masterchef jury. In 2016, begins the collaboration with San Pellegrino, one of the brands with the best affiliation with the world gastronomic phenomenon, to be part of the jury of the San Pellegrino Young Chef competition, 2016 edition. In this edition, Adrian Hădean acts as a mentor for the winner the regional stage, which will participate in the world final in Italy, from autumn 2016. He has launched the "Hadean.Live" project, a blog about life, a platform that brings together ideas and lucid thoughts immediately, photos and videos.

Alla Paula Moldovan

Paula Moldovan, known as Alla, was attracted to art even before she started school, during the course she did several kinds of dance, and now she is trying to use them to build her own style. From contemporary dance to experimental dance, which is a hybrid between feelings and movement. She graduated from the choreography school in Cluj, and is now a dance teacher at the "Tudor Jarda" High school. She won all the competitions and dance Olympics in Romania and participated in the "Romania Got Talent" TV show, where she took Golden Buzzer and the 3rd place. Besides dancing, she draws, sings and creates handmade objects.

Bianca Muntean

Bianca Muntean is the director of Transylvania IT Cluster and the executive director of the Romanian Association for the Electronics and Software Industry - Transylvania Branch, being elected in 2019 the EU Cluster Manager of the Year. Expert in cluster policies and cluster management, Bianca defended, in 2016, her doctoral thesis - "Excellence in cluster management in IT" at Babeș-Bolyai University. Since 2002, Bianca has been involved in the elaboration of regional and sectoral strategies: Transylvania Development Strategy 2007-2013, Recommendation of Public Sector Policies, thus contributing to the Strategy for the development of the IT sector in Romania, as well as to the promotion and mobilization of SMEs. for FP7. Through her contributions, Bianca Muntean has a direct impact on the regional innovative ecosystem, one of the most important financial centers in Eastern Europe.

Camelia Șucu

Camelia Șucu is a complete and fulfilled woman. Founder of businesses such as ClassIn, Iconic Health, Abundia Wholesale Market or Natuzzi. With a career of over 20 years in the business area, Camelia has been an entrepreneur, mother, a medical school student or style icon. Charlie Ottley

Charlie Ottley visited Romania for the first time in 2011, and since then he returns every year. For the "Flavors of Romania" series, the journalist traveled through all the regions of Romania. Daniel Leș

Daniel Leş is a potter and a free Dacian, buried in the land of Maramures. I live in a 100-year-old house, fire in the stove and tell stories to children. I am the husband and father of two children, the big student at Arts in Timişoara, the little one, 4 years old, who started walking with his fingers in clay, next to me. The luxury of my life is to do what I like at home, convinced that I can be happy without too many accessories. (Daniel Leş) Born in a family of artists trained at the famous school of painting from Băăăăăăăă, Daniel Leş began his apprenticeship at the age of six, together with his father. Although his works are always exhibited on the premises of the most famous art galleries in Romania and abroad, with modesty, he considers himself an eternal apprentice Daniel Leș grew up in the workshop of his father, the painter and ceramist Ioan Leș, where he learned drawing and ceramics. Since 1997 he has exhibited his works in the country and in the world and has been awarded with diplomas of excellence, awards for originality and special awards. "I want to recover the world of my childhood," says Daniel Leș, so many of the characters he models are from his childhood village. He is a follower of the traditional methods of clay processing and is recognized as a promoter and continuator of the art of pottery. "I get deeply involved in every work I do, thinking that, at the end, when it's ready, I have to show it to God."

DJ Silent Disciple

Dj Silent Disciple, or Mirel Roman in acts, a dj / turntablist from Baia Mare, with music in his blood since childhood, sweetened by the stories engraved on a black scroll, likes to be seen as an old-school disciple but with an update - daily rates. He puts himself on silent to let the music speak.

Dragoș Muscalu

He is an actor and improviser and for more than twelve years he has held workshops in companies and art universities in the country. It teaches people how to overcome personal and professional blockages, adapting theatrical and play techniques to particular business situations. Graduate of the University of Theater and Cinematographic Art "I. L. Caragiale" from Bucharest, Doctor in Theater, expresses his passion for Improvisation especially through working with young people. He is a founding member of the oldest improvisation band in Cluj and a member of the first improvisation band only for kids of Romania. Paraphrasing his teacher, Master Ion Cojar, Dragoș claims that the Improvisation Theater offers a unique chance for an actor, that of being able to play 50 characters in a single show, and for "an ordinary man", that of being it surprises itself, thus revealing new facets of its personality ”.

Eduard Novak

He started his sports career at an early age, first choosing hockey and then switching to speed skating. After 10 years of speed skating, 25 national titles, 30 national records and 3rd place at the World Junior Cup, he suffered a car accident on the way to a contest, after which he lost his right foot. After the accident, he enrolled at the Law School. The native spirit of winning, however, did not allow him to stay away from the sporting world for too long and, when he felt the call again, he took a new path to the top of the podium. This time, by paraciclismo, with self-financing and being his own trainer. For several years, he was a sales agent during the day, at the company he had set up, and in the evening, a performance sportsman. The competitions won in Europe and the 4th place at the Athens Paralympics in 2004 gave him the strength to go even further, to fulfill his big dream. He found a coach and managed to form the first professional team of Paralympic cyclists in the country, at the same time with the preparation for the 2012 London Paralympics. Arriving there, he obtained a new world record in qualifications, followed by the title of the Paralympic champion in the 4 km race track on the velodrome and a silver medal in the individual road race, becoming the first Romanian Paralympic champion in history.

Gáspár György

Medeleanu Melania

Founder & President, MagiCAMP Assocation MagiCamp is an association that supports children with oncological affections and their families. Melania is also the founder of the social project Hero Afterschool Clinceni, and educational project that supports the needs of the children in the Clinceni community. For more that 20 years Melania was a journalist, news anchor, moderator of political and social TV programs. She now considers that her entire former career has been just a training for and a build-up to the projects she is currently involved in. She uses her extensive communicator experience to coordinate the activities of the MagiCAMP Assocation and Hero Afterschool Project, but also to provide training sessions in public speaking, diction and to moderate events which fit the values and causes she believes in.

Nicolae Weisz

Este profesor de limba franceză. Băimărean convins (nu de alţii!). Locuri de muncă: Liceul „Anghel Saligny” şi Colegiul Naţional „Mihai Eminescu”, + Teatrul Municipal (director artistic între 2002 şi 2010), toate, desigur, la Baia Mare. Din 1994, este animatorul trupei de teatru licean francofon DRAMATIS PERSONAE, cu care a participat la peste 100 de festivaluri internaţionale în 10 ţări. A iniţiat, în 2002, un festival internaţional de cântec francofon, numit CHANTS, SONS SUR SCENE, aflat în faţa celei de-a XIX-a ediţii, cel mai mare de acest gen din Europa (scoţând din ecuaţie Franţa, Belgia şi Elveţia). Se află printre iniţiatorii festivalului de teatru contemporan pentru tineret ACTING, cu un activ de 6 ediţii, probabil singurul organizat în colaborare cu o facultate de teatru (în cazul de faţă, cea din Cluj Napoca). Este un traducător frenetic (avem convingerea că v-ar recomanda bucuros Dumnezeu călătoreşte întotdeauna incognito de Laurent Gounelle, sau 3 cărţi de un umor nebun, avându-i drept autori pe Pierre Antilogus & Jean-Louis Festjens, toate la editura Philobia… şi mai ales etc.). Crede nestrămutat în virtuţile educaţiei, în toate formele sale. Optimist bine temperat.

Radu Gologan

Prof. Polytechnic University of Bucharest | President of the Mathematical Science Society of Romania Author of over 70 research and elementary mathematics articles, specialty books, textbooks and problem collections. Since 2000 professor at the Polytechnic University. Always passionate about the mathematics of the Olympics, in 2001 he became the coordinator of the school Olympics and the coach of the Romanian teams at the International Mathematical Olympics. Since 2008 he is elected President of the Society of Mathematical Sciences, which becomes a partner of the mathematical school competitions.

Roxana Pamfil

Roxana Pamfil (née Feier) grew up in Baia Mare and is a proud graduate of "Vasile Lucaciu" National College. At 18, she moved to the United States to study at Harvard University, where she majored in mathematics and astrophysics. She graduated summa cum laude in 2012, after which she worked for 2 years as a financial analyst for an investment firm in Washington, DC. In 2014 she moved closer to home, in the UK, to begin a PhD in applied mathematics at Oxford. Currently, she works in London as a consultant in the field of artificial intelligence, for a company called QuantumBlack. She loves to discuss the impact of these technologies on society, including the ethical issues it generates.

Vlad Mixich

Vlad Mixich is an expert in health policies and a writer, currently executive director of the Romanian Health Observatory and a member of the European Public Health Alliance (EPHA). He works as a specialist in health policies for international organizations, such as the European Commission or the World Bank, being active in strengthening health systems in several countries in Central and Eastern Europe. In the last year, he was a Fulbright Fellow at Rollins School of Public Health (Emory University, USA) where he taught and worked in research. With a degree in Medicine, Vlad Mixich also holds a master's degree in International Health Policies from the London School of Economics and Political Science and has been the winner of prestigious scholarships: the Eisenhower for Innovation Scholarship, the Marshall Memorial Scholarship and the Carter Scholarship. As a health journalist, Vlad's articles investigated corruption in the health system, stigmatization of people with mental health problems, reluctance to vaccinate or emigrate to young doctors. His articles have received several national and European awards, especially during his time working for national publications (Hotnews.ro) and international publications (Deutsche Welle). The most recent project in the media in which he was involved was a morning show on Digi FM, in which he dismantled medical myths. Vlad was born in Baia-Mare.

Walter Ubelhart

He was born on May 08, 1970, in a family of German ethnicities in Baia Mare. Since 1994, he is an entrepreneur and co-founder of a foreign trade and production company. In 2016 he wrote and published the book "In the Shadow of Shakespeare" which created a new concept - Book Fan Acting, the fans of a book that become actors who play the roles of the movie made after his favorite book.
