Aiswarya Sreenivas

Architecture Student

Prior to being a VR researcher and TA at Cornell University, architecture student Aishwarya Sreenivas was President, Cornell's College of Architecture, Art and Planning Ambassadors. Currently, she handles her position as Vice-President of Internal Affairs of the American Institute of Architecture Students, while working on virtual design collaborations at Nvidia. Her work on human perceptual impacts and design in VR has taken her places.

Dhwani Kannan

Dhwani is a grade 12 humanities student at the choice school with an avid interest in science. She is one among many who auditioned to be a speaker and was selected for her excellence in variation of ideas.

Jose Chacko

Cardiologist

Dr Jose Chacko Periappuram is a renowned cardiosurgeon and writer from South Paravoor, Kerala. A Padma Shri awardee, Dr. Jose is the first medical surgeon to perform a heart retransplant, the first of its kind in India. His other accomplishments include the first successful heart transplant, beating heart, awake bypass and total arterial revascularization surgeries in the State. He is a fellow at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow, and the Royal College of Surgeons of London. He also has a charitable trust that caters to poor heart patients coined ‘Heart Care Foundation'. At present, he is heading the department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Lisie Heart Institute, Kochi. Dr. Jose has authored many medical books. He has also written an informative book on heart diseases in Malayalam called ‘hridayam'. He himself has also curated a TED Talk in Thiruvananthapuram.

Nirupa Shankar

Entrepreneur- Brigade group

An icon in the field of real estate development and a star entrepreneur at Brigade Group, Nirupa Shankar is a visionary. She oversees HR, PR and Innovation at Brigade. She has an innovative mind and has set up Asia’s first real estate accelerator called REAP (Real Estate Accelerator Programme). She has won numerous awards including Construction Woman of the Year 2018 and Woman CXO of the Year 2017. She is also an avid writer. Her articles are published regularly in newspapers and trade journals. She is also a sports fanatic and is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

Richelle Mather

Legal Studies Student

Brought up in Kochi, Richelle Mather is an alumna of Vidyodaya School, Thevakkal. She graduated with an IB diploma from Gems Wellington, Dubai and is currently pursuing legal studies at I.E., Spain. She has also interned at the United Nations.

Susan Thomas

Director- National Institute of Fashion Technology

Susan Thomas, IRS, is a public speaker, debater, Director of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore, and all-around a woman of many accomplishments. Notably, she is an alumna of St Teresa’s, JNU and the University of Oxford, not to mention having worked with the Income Tax Department for 17 years as well as the Ministry of Textiles.
