But wait, we announce that it's high time to calm your nerves down, to get your senses buckled up and let the spark in you be invigorated as BIT Sindri, one of the oldest and premium technical institution of India, is geared up to launch its very first TEDx talk, the theme being- "The Infinity War".

Could there be a more enrapturing theme for the fanatical crowd at campus?

With eminent speakers on the board, it promises to bring forward life-changing ideas by offering insights into the lives of people who successfully directed a path of glory by vanquishing their respective wars.

Mohommed Ali Shah

Ex Army veteran, theatre personality

Major Mohommed Ali Shah is a TEDx speaker, a Defence expert, and a Defence analyst on many popular Indian News Channels. He is a well-known theatre and film personality too He did his first play when he was 5 years old and was bitten by the bug of acting ever since! He has a huge body of work in Theatre including several productions with alumni of The National School of Drama. He joined the Short Service Commission in the Army to train as a " Commando" and was posted at the Indo - Pak border at the line of control as a young Lieutenant. He was awarded a commendation card for his exceptional and meritorious service to the nation for being unmindful of his safety and going beyond the call of duty while serving with the ' Assam rifles" in the North East. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious IIM Calcutta. Major Mohommed Ali Shah has acted in FTII alumnus Shriram Raghavan's "Agent Vinod", and in Vishal Bhardwaj's "Haider" which won 5 National awards.

Saira Shah Halim

Saira Shah Halim is a social and peace activist, an educator, a writer, a theatre personality and a free spirit. Saira started her corporate career which entailed graveyard shifts with some of the top MNC’s and having hung up her corporate boots a few years ago to work for more meaningful and impactful causes, Saira has metamorphosed as one of the more prominent social and gender activists of the country and spends her time taking up the cudgels of society,she is known to take up the causes of the disenfranchised, politically marginalized and is a well-known face on Indian national television speaking on myriad social and political issues ,Saira is known to voice her opinions vociferously and with perfect conviction on national television. Recently she was awarded the SAARC Women's award by the SAARC Women's Association Dhaka for her contribution in the cultural, literary and bilateral contribution with SAARC countries at Dhaka

Vinay Singh is Data Science Manager at BASF SE, Germany, responsible for driving Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Topics. He is visiting research fellow at Department of Management Studies at National Central University of Taiwan and authored a couple of books related to Analytics ( Real-Time Analytics with SAP HANA; Manage your SAP project with SAP Activate; Creating and Using Advanced DSOs in SAP BW on SAP HANA; SAPBusiness Intelligence Essentials – Quick Guide ). He is one of the co-founders of ManiaVarsity.
