Re-Think Fort Wayne is where our histories and futures collide with meaningful ideas and dialogue about Fort Wayne’s next chapter. At a recent Leadership class, Mac Parker, a long-time Fort Wayne resident, spoke about the Economic History of Fort Wayne. He recalled Fort Wayne’s roots on the rivers, the construction of rail roads, and the dawning of the automotive age. Parker suggests that Fort Wayne again needs swagger to figure out Act four! Both risk taking and visionary thinking built Fort Wayne’s legendary past and they will reshape the future.
