Theme: Paradox of Modernity

Paradox of modernity signifies the ironical nature of modernity. We might be modern in outlook but the liberal values espoused in certain domains get regressive in others. We are often torn between conservatism and liberalism. Similarly while modern economy might provide for the elusive development, the growth is dismal and narrowly fixed on the upper echelons of society. Modernity has been a broad term used for different periods to demarcate it from preceding ones but never has been completely described or it's contours have been drawn. We would like to educate the youth that the modernity they hold dear might be not modernity in true forms. Also to explain them the various facets of this domain and truly understand theme to navigate their place in this fast changing world.
