TEDxGateway has the same passion as TED: Spreading Ideas & Opening a gateway to innovation. Our mission is to reach out and inspire people to learn, share and discuss “Ideas Worth Spreading” that have the power and potential to make a difference in our lives, and our world.

TEDxGateway will make headway into various aspects and industries and talk about how to take innovative ideas forward in a country with such great diversities and a phenomenal potential to be the next super power in the world.

The ideas showcased at TEDx are big and powerful. Our speakers think big : predicting and shaping the future of technology, creating and implementing ingenious solutions to global problems, and innovating in technology, business, science, design and arts.

The first edition of TEDxGateway gathered some of the best creative and active thinkers from across the globe – from entrepreneurs to artists : inspiring, discovering, generating and sharing ideas worth spreading in diverse areas. The second edition promises to be even bigger!!

For our 2nd Edition (27th Nov, 2011) we are assembling a cast of characters capable of stirring the imagination as never before. Explorers, storytellers, photographers, scientific pioneers, visionaries and provocateurs from all parts of the globe.

From dazzling technology and leading-edge science to the richest veins of human creativity and interconnection, we are assembling our most diverse group of speakers ever for TEDxGateway, with just this in common: that they have something remarkable to share, and they are able to share it in a remarkable way.

We are a non-profit initiative based on the principles of social entrepreneurship by which we simply mean that we place a good and inspiring cause at the centre of our efforts and activities, and apart from the direct costs associated with the conferences and organizing we use all income to foster that cause and help a community forming around it.
