Alvin Yapan
Professor
Dr. Alvin Yapan is a champion of Philippine languages and literature, and an Associate Professor at the Department of Filipino of the Ateneo de Manila University. As a creative writer, Yapan has some of the country's top prizes in literature under his name. As a filmmaker, he has worked on EDSA (2016), produced for the 30th anniversary of the 1986 People Power Revolution, and Oro (2016), both films winning best ensemble performances.
