Arun Daniel Yellamaty
Arun Daniel’s philosophy is about giving back to society. He's the founder of the Youngistaan Foundation, a voluntary NGO that organises and engages with youngsters and socially-aware individuals on the streets of Hyderabad. They spearhead multiple social programmes to make empathetic interventions in areas of homelessness, poverty and hunger. They've also set up programmes to support rural education, and raise gender awareness.
Giridhar Rao
After a childhood of reading science fiction, A. Giridhar Rao did a PhD on SF at University of Hyderabad. This led him to the planned language Esperanto, and later to study multilingualism in society. At Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, he teaches courses on literature in school education, language policy and pedagogy, linguistic human rights, Esperanto and linguistic democracy, and science fiction.
