In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Alina Tiplea

Alina founded in 2012 Merci Charity Boutique, a non-profit association, which opened the first charity concept store in Romania. A short time after, Daniela Staicu appeared, first as a volunteer in the association, then as an employee. Together they fought to make the mission of the association possible. The mission of the association is to find and implement solutions in the field of health, to give equal access to health services to the population from the rural area, which represents 47% of the population of Romania. Currently, this access is limited or non-existent.

Bianca Alexandra Spînu

A stupid moment changed her whole life by becoming a wheelchair user, but she thinks fate had given her a new chance, a stronger version of herself, so she have been hard-pressed to study medicine, and from 2017 she is a graduate of The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Gr. T. Popa of Iași and in the same she became a resident doctor of Radiology and Medical Imaging.

Bogdan Duca

Duca Bogdan is a professional cyclist. And he's been on the bike since like ever, but the performance he started to reach only at the age of 23, in 2014. Old enough to be hard to promise remarkable results. However, through his work and perseverance he has managed to gather dozens of national and international podiums, titles of national vice-champion but also winning the National Marathon Cup in the last two years.

Dana Galupa

She was always passionate about knowing and understanding the human mind. That was why she chose to become a psychotherapist. After almost 16 years of practice, she is still fascinated by how each of us manages to be both the director and the actor of our own lives.

Gabriel Carnariu

In a continuous personal development, Gabriel Carnariu is a leader of the youth movement in Romania. He has started from the bottom line and constantly aims to move out of the comfort zone by accepting new challenges that lead to new stages of life. He has over 10 years of activity in working with young people and their representation, having experiences such as representing students during high school, coordinating specific programs for the youth sector, European volunteering in Ireland, representing the youth sector in Bacău county s.a.

Romeo Tanasa

With a rich experience accumulated over 10 years in which he has worked in various commissions of the Romanian Sports Dance Federation (FRDS) and CID, Romeo Tanasa is one of the referees who judges the national and international dance competitions. Beyond the activity of referee within the FRDS, Romeo Tanasa was an active sportsman with important results in national and international competitions. Moreover, being a graduate of the Faculty of Coaches within the Ministry of Youth and Sport, Sportive Dance specialization, Romeo is one of the young coaches who has achieved remarkable results with the athletes he has trained. In addition to the sporting activity, Romeo Tanasa is also an excellent club manager, more than 11 years ago, setting up the Adamas club in Bacau, a sports entity with a significant number of performance athletes.

Roxana Hagy

Roxana Hagy is a psychologist and psychotherapist, trained in systemic school of couple and family psychotherapy, supervisory step. Besides the practice of practice, she works as a psychologist in a private kindergarten, where every day she's reconfirm her love for children, but especially the passion for education.
