Christopher Wong
Chief Operating Officer of the Malaysia Book of Records
Christopher Wong is the Chief Operating Officer of the Malaysia Book of Records, a non-profit organisation and official national keeper of records for Malaysia. Christopher is also a practicing corporate lawyer of 25 years standing. Outside work, Christopher sits on the Board of Trustees for WWF-Malaysia, a NGO that champions conservation causes for natural environment and endangered species. He has also authored a book called “Loke Mansion : Carrying On A Legacy” on the need to preserve heritage and creating awareness for Loke Mansion, a century old grand mansion built by Loke Yew, a philanthropist who was the richest man in South East Asia during the early 1900s. Outside his professional life, Christopher is also an avid kendo exponent, having represented Malaysia in the World Kendo Championships, and holds the rank of 6Dan. He describes himself as someone who defies standard convention, ventures beyond the limits set on him and has a larger than life persona.

Dr. Carol is one of the Malaysia’s leading advocates of personal financial education and sustainable retirement for Malaysians. She is also a personal financial coach and advisor, speaker, columnist, author, educator and trainer in personal finance for a decade. Dr. Carol's mission is to promote financial literacy and financial intelligence to the youth, employees, senior citizens, women, families, deaf communities and other levels of society by educating them of the necessity to understand their mindset and behaviors, and how both affect their financial situations. She has authored ‘Smart Money User’, ‘Credit Card Syndrome’, ‘Money Rules’ and ‘Money Work Life’. Her books reveal how the state of mind and beliefs affect how much (or how little) wealth a person will have, or retain. Dr. Carol is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Aged Care Group Sdn Bhd. Aged Care Group’s vision is to innovate and transform the perception of ageing.
Software Engineer
Eshaan Menon is currently one of the two regional representatives for Asia at the World Federation of UN Associations Youth Advisory Council and was a YSEALI Academic Fellow for Civic Engagement.
Starting out as a delegate in Model UN conferences, Eshaan organised and chaired multiple conferences such as SelangorMUN, APUMUN, AMUNC and JOINMUN over the course of his time in university. As a Software Engineer and award-winning hackathon hacker, Eshaan managed to find a place for himself in the discussion around restrictive internet laws and volunteered with the UN Association of Malaysia throughout his time in university. Now a graduate, Eshaan is back to inspire change among his fellow young Malaysians beyond the monumental change of government in 2018 so that young people can rise to the occasion at this critical juncture and build the New Malaysia they want to see.

Joyce Lai has been instrumental in leading key portfolios within the AirAsia Group from Aviation,Education,Music,and Entertainment to Motorsport,Merchandising and Financial Services.Joyce enjoys spending time outdoors from running,dancing,trekking,travelling,reading and volunteering at community projects such as the welfare and rehabilitation of wildlife in Asia,sustainable community projects that involve children from Malaysia,to India and South Africa,and the welfare and rehabilitation of wildlife in Asia.Whilst,reexploring her dance discipline and mentoring students in the dance school,she harnessed her creativity to another level by participating in the production of dance charity concerts.Today,Joyce formed J Foxtrot Ventures and works freelance as a Strategic Brand Consultant.Her services include strategic consultation and planning for branding,marketing and communications,start-up business management,training for leadership and teambuilding as well as CSR project management.
