Theme: The Pause Button

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

My name is zitong dong , English name is Bonnie ,I’m a 6-grade student in kaiwen academy.The idea of this speech is just came from the time I wrote TEDx's registration, there is a project called "What impressed You" when writing thought of that period of time let me very distressed one thing——losing emotion control to my family than feel very regret, in fact, that did teach me a lot, so why I don’t just take out to and share to every one , let everyone carefully think about it one more time.

I am Cecilia Yang. I am a student from grade 8 class A and a happy little girl. I have been studying here at Kaiwen Academy for 2 years. I like learning and find studying interesting and fun. My hobbies are reading books listening to music, and playing with friends. I am friendly, polite, and am always ready to help others. I like my classmates and friends, but I would like to point out a problem about them. Many people are wasting in the cafeteria. Through my speech, I would like to make them understand it is not right to do so and beg them to stop wasting.

Beauty is most colorful thing in this world. Most people appreciate it and I am one of them. I like to do paintings in my free time, also I used to do volunteer in a coffee shop. In 2016, which is my first year in Kaiwen, I joined a project to find beauty, and our team named “Beauty in Haven and Earth”. That is my passion, the journey for me to find beauty is quite interesting, how about yours?

I am Eric De from Kevin school, grade 11. I like to learn computer programming in my spare time and make my own programs. With the development of artificial intelligence technology in recent years, I have gradually become interested in artificial intelligence. I did a survey with my friends on the state of artificial intelligence. I have gained a lot from this research, so I also hope to use this Tedx lecture to tell my own views, and let the audience have a clear cognition and prediction of artificial intelligence and future technology.

I am Lucas Huang, a student of grade 11 from Kaiwen Academy. My interests are reading and computer. While studying in the United States, I became very interested in artificial intelligence and algorithms. In my opinion, artificial intelligence will become the key point of future technology and the innovator of human society. Therefore, I will elaborate my unique viewpoints in my Tedx speech, and introduce the latest research and viewpoints on artificial intelligence to the audience. I hope this will establish a basic framework for the audience's knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence and further understand the future that must occur.

I am crazy about nature. I love everything in nature, fish, spiders, snakes, flowers, and especially birds. I developed this crazy passion of nature in Canberra, the “Bush Capital” of Australia during third grade. Now I keep a parrot Sunny and a border collie Tiger at home, they are really nice companions. My mother is a university teacher of molecular biology. I always ask her to teach me about genes. As part of the natural world, genomes are opened a new gate of interest to me. I am as interested in genomes as I am interested about animals. The breaking news about genome editing improvements deeply moved me and inspired me to do this TED speech.
