TEDxIMTDubai is a local, independently organized TEDx event in IMT Dubai, that
strives to re-create the unique experience found at TED. At its core, the
fundamental goal is to foster “Ideas worth Spreading”.
Inspired by the power of little things, TEDxIMTDubai is excited to keep this year's
theme as
. "The Little Things“ .
This year’s theme focuses on the little things that end up making a huge impact.
Little things can be anything- a baby's first steps, a friendly smile, a random kind
gesture, a new thought. These are all things that may look little, but make a huge
impact on our lives.
Our aim is to provide a platform where thinkers and change makers co-inspire to
question the way we think

Christopher Grazel

COO Fly Dubai

Captain Christopher Grazel is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Flydubai and has been associated with the company since 2014. He holds the ultimate responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of all flights under Flydubai. He has the corporate authority for ensuring that all operations and maintenance activities are financed and carried out to the standard required by the GCAA. Chris is a graduate of the US Naval Academy, University of Southern California and Villanova University. He started his aviation career as a carrier-based Fighter Pilot and was a graduate of illustrious TOPGUN academy. He has also worked for US Airways (now American Airlines), Skybus, Spirit and GoAir in India.

Hari Rao

Entrepreneur

Mr. Hari Rao is an Indian Revenue Service officer with a passion for cooking, who gave up an enviable career as a civil servant in order to pursue full-time journey to transform the eco-system of Indian cuisine. Hari Rao has developed an energy efficient radiant heat commercial gas burner system which emits heat just like charcoal heat. The innovation works on LPG, Natural Gas, Bio-Methane or any combustible gas with higher thermal efficiency. The innovation has won several national and international awards on clean cooking. Hari Rao heads R&D in Agnisumukh, where his mission is to address complete heat dynamics of Indian cooking and industrial applications. He says, ‘cooking the most amazing food, and feeding everyone with love, is his dream’

Mohammed Murad

Entrepreneur

Mr.Mohammed Murad is an entrepreneur and manages four companies. After a 20-year career with the Dubai Police force, he retired as a Lt. Colonel in 2003. He has more than 27 years of experience as Director and CEO in emergency medical services management, human resource development and strategic planning all in the Government of Dubai. After his retirement as a police officer, he was tasked with heading Dubai Government’s Institute of Human Resource Development as CEO. He then became the CEO for Excellence and Performance in the newly established Community Development Authority for the Government of Dubai. He is also a lecturer in Event Management Development Institute Dubai (EMDI). Mohammed has extensive experience in Quality Systems, Coaching and Leadership Development with a multi-national workforce in the private sector.

Pritvik SinhaDC

Paleontologist & Astrophysicist

Master Pritvik Sinhadc is a 14 year old, year 10 student of Dubai College. He is the world’s youngest author in paleontology, having published his first book at the age of seven. He has recently been honored with the ‘Future Stars’ title by the Arabian Business Achievement Awards and declared a ‘World Science Scholar’ by the World Science Festival, New York. At 13, the first and only person from the Middle East and Africa to have achieved this along with 45 exceptional under-18 mathematicians in the world. Pritvik has also been honoured with the ‘Incredible talent’ title by the Sharjah Book authority, a ‘Young Achiever’ title by Femina Middle East, ‘Crystal Trophy’ by the Emirates Environmental group and many more. Currently, he has 6 books to his credit on prehistoric beasts, rare dinosaurs, radiation, nuclear waste and mutation.

Suki Lu

Celebrity and TV Presenter

Ms. Suki Lu is a Bi-lingual presenter and professional event host. Hailing from Shanghai, Ms.Suki has interviewed some of the top celebrities and successful entrepreneurs around the world. Ms. Suki Lu is a household name in China and is widely known in the Chinese community in both GCC and China. During her career in the UAE, she has hosted several significant official events for the Royal family and the UAE Government officials. She has been nominated for the China and Arab culture influencers since she has been working closely with the Chinese government officials for many years to forge stronger cultural exchange.
