Theme: The Myth of Rationality

This event occurred on
November 13, 2018
Glasgow, Glasgow City

Do you know why people are willing to pay more for a coffee at Starbucks? Or why you spend more money when paying with credit card?

Most of us assume we are quite rational beings and that we make our decisions based on the information available to us. However, we often make decisions without any logical basis. Want to know who's really making the decisions for you? Then this is the event for you!

We invite you to join us at this TEDxUniversityofGlasgowSalon event, where our three speakers will give you an insight into the emerging theory of behavioural economics and how we can use it to gain a new perspective on the world and our own lives.
