Brennan Clark

Bowdoin College Class of 2020

Brennan Clark is a member of the Class of 2020 at Bowdoin College from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He studies English, Russian, and Visual Arts, and works at the Bowdoin College Art Museum. Brennan is passionate about telling stories, both in the visual and written mediums, and is a firm believer in the storyteller’s duty to document the untold.

Bryan Falchuk

Best-selling author, speaker and life coach

Bryan Falchuk is a best-selling author, speaker, and life coach. He has faced adversities and learned how to overcome and achieve. From obesity to running marathons, from career struggles to success as a C-level executive, from watching illness threaten his family to finding lasting health, he has been through many lessons he used to develop his unique approach to inspiring others to succeed. Bryan's work has been featured in many top publications including Inc. Magazine, Business Insider, the LA Times, and the Chicago Tribune. He is a frequent public speaker at corporate events, conferences, and universities. He has been a featured guest on over 120 podcasts and radio shows, and hosts his own weekly show, The Do a Day Podcast. Bryan graduated from Bowdoin College in 2000. He holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, had a 20-year career in insurance, was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, and serves as an advisor to several InsureTech start-ups.

Eileen Johnson

Lecturer in Environmental Studies, Program Manager

Eileen Sylvan Johnson is Lecturer and Program Manager in Environmental Studies at Bowdoin College. She teaches environmental social science courses that integrate digital and computational technologies with a particular emphasis on spatial analysis, GIS and remote sensing. Her research focuses on community resilience and collaborative resource management, examining the role of decision support tools in informing local decision making. Her teaching and research emphasizes community-based research and her students engage actively with stakeholders in development of class projects and independent student research. She oversees Bowdoin's Environmental Studies’ endowed fellowship program.

Johari Joseph

Bowdoin College Class of 2021

Johari Joseph is a member of the Class of 2021 at Bowdoin College from Baltimore, Maryland. On campus, she is in the African American Society, Women of Color Coalition, and several dance groups. Additionally, she is involved in communities (both on and off campus) focused on the empowerment of women and people of color.

Patrick Bloniasz

Bowdoin College Class of 2022

Patrick F. Bloniasz is a member of the Class of 2022 at Bowdoin College and grew up in Brookline, New Hampshire. He is a prospective double major in Neuroscience and Philosophy with a minor in Mathematics. Patrick enjoys running, hiking, writing, and performing music. He is involved in Bowdoin's Chamber Choir, several projects at the McKeen Center for the Common Good, and intramural sports. Off campus, he is a board member of E&GJ Creative Arts Foundation, a certified personal trainer, and an independent researcher and consultant in educational reform. Patrick is also an active member of the American Psychological Association and The Psychometric Society.

Safah Saleh

Bowdoin College Class of 2022

Safa Saleh is a member of the Class of 2022 at Bowdoin College and a resident of Cumberland, Maine. She was born in Baghdad, Iraq, but her family fled the country in early 2006 due to the war. Before moving to the United States in October 2007, they lived as refugees in Jerash, Jordan. At Bowdoin, Safa hopes to major in Neuroscience. Her passions range from activism and immigration reform to scientific research, global health, and medicine. As a refugee, she is especially interested in issues regarding refugee and migrant health. After Bowdoin, Safa hopes to pursue a medical degree and a career as a surgeon with the purpose of aiding those especially vulnerable populations.
