In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Jeannie Eom is an upper. She likes to read memoirs and do movie marathons with her friends in her free time. Aside from engaging through different clubs and activities, you can also catch her every Thursday, shopping at the Farmer’s Market.

Tony Cai grew up in Xiamen, China. He regards himself as a techie, a theater and photography lover, and most importantly, a history zealot. He wants to introduce all of you to his city Xiamen from a new perspective, uncovering stories from the shades of the city - they are not only stories of him, but also stories that we all share.
