ADEYEYE ADEWOLE

Adewole Adeyeye was born on April 28, about three decades ago in Lagos State to Prince and Mrs. Festus Adeyeye It is the belief of Adebowale that life should have a purpose of giving back and helping humanity rather than just leaving the responsibility of catering to the poor to the government. This ideology is what led to the existence of WAF. WAF began in 2016 after Adebowale observed the level of poverty and illiteracy in the northern region of the country. WAF engages in empowerment programs in agriculture and education for uneducated youths, women, and children in the society with the support of his agro-business Elan League International. Adebowale also uses WAF as a tool to push advocacy for better living and fair treatment for women, children and youths in the society.

BUSAYO OLUWADAMILARE MORAKINYO

HUMANITARIAN, DEVELOPMENT ENTHUSIAST

Busayo Oluwadamilare Morakinyo has a Bachelors Degree in History and International Relations from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State and a Masters Degree in Humanitarian and Refugee Studies from the Premier University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State. He believes in the consummate abilities of young Nigerians to chart a course for the immediate future. As a Peace Scholar, Social Critique, Community Mobilizer, Thought Engineer and TEDx speaker he strongly opines that Transparency and Accountability is the only panacea to good governance, on which every egalitarian system must rest in the bid to curb corruption and ensure sustainable development. As a researcher, he believes in the practicality of knowledge instead of just the acquiring certificates, this belief and passion took him into the North East in October 2016 on a personal research to unravel the real challenges of Displaced Persons in relation to their NEEDs, yearnings and aspirations.

DR, STEPHEN OGIRIMA OHIZE

Dr Stephen Ogirima Ohize has over five years’ experience in the public health sector, specifically focusing on maternal and neonatal health; and cancer prevention and preventive therapy. Currently, Stephen is the Project Coordinator for Raise Foundation, where he heads the Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention Program. He also serves as a member of the Niger State steering committee for the Saving One Million Lives Program. Stephen is focused on initiating, designing and implementing public health programs. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Jos, Nigeria, and a Master’s of Science in Public Health from Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), United States. He is a Mandela Washington Fellow
