Sonja Lundquist got her Swedish surname from her great grandfather, who moved from Sweden to America. After the second world war her granfather moved to Germany and now Sonja has choosen to move back to the Swedish country side. She has lived in Arjeplog now for 3 years and she really like it and wants to stay. She moved a lot in her life, but feels like she has landed in Arjeplog. She is not one of those persons who want to hide in the forest because, she is tired of people. No, she likes to be an active part of society. Sonja works as a teacher at the Hotel and Tourism management program here at “Hornavanskolan”, the college of Arjeplog, though she is an educated architect. Everything is possible if you only want to make it possible.
