In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aakash Arul

Aakash Arul, a senior school student at Our Own English High School Boys' Sharjah. He is a house prefect who manages time wisely for both academic and extra-curricular activities. He loves doing digital art, designing and graphics in After Effects. He is a good photographer and an Electronic Keyboard player, pursuing a course in Trinity College, London.He aims to become a Chartered Accountant and excel in the field of Accounting.

Anagha Rajesh

1. Anagha Rajesh is a grade 11 student of Our Own English High School, girls, Sharjah. She is a passionate public speaker and debater. She loves penning her thoughts in words and dancing to the rhythm of Indian Classical music. She aspires to make a phenomenal change to world politics some day.

Anam Fatima

Academically proficient, Anam Fatima has been at the forefront of an array of Inter- school, regional and international competitions. Being a prolific debater and a great team-player, she has won several coveted awards. Anam is a diligent person which allows her to balance her academics and co-curricular activities. She has exhibited strong leadership and organizational skills as the Captain Social Service and has been a part of various Charity Drives. Anam is an avid reader who is particularly interested in depicting her expressions through different forms of writing and strongly believes in the power of words.

Manas, a senior school student is a scientist in the making. He is passionate about debating and public speaking.

He fondled his passions for sports and performance arts. Movies, dancing, acting, anything to express his ideas. He adores sports and games and is a living guide on how to be confident.

Mohammed Musab

Musab is a grade 12 student in OOEHS,Sharjah, Boys' Branch. Debating and calligraphy are his forte. He is interested in current affairs.

Rishab Java

Rishab Java A 16 year old high school student with a love for making things and has been making things ever since he was 7 after being inspired by a Hindi movie on robots.He started out by making Lego projects until a few years back when he started to make project using an Arduino and a 3D printer. Since then he has worked on projects such as a mind controlled drone, low-cost 3d printed mind or voice controlled prosthetic arm, a virtual presence robot and a 6 feet tall humanoid robot. He also likes interacting with people and sharing what he has learnt with them.

Samir Hussain

Samir, a 15 year old who enjoys writing,reading and just chilling.He is a huge fan of Marvel, and loves listening to music. He is fascinated by space and the concepts of alternate realities. He likes to make people laugh and make them feel better about themselves.

Shreevikaa Kannan

Shreevikaa Kannan of Our Own English High School, Dubai, is interested in reading books and playing drums. Her ambition is to become a forensic scientist.

Srishti Iyer

Srishti Iyer is a sixteen year old girl studying at the Millennium School, Dubai. While always being described as outgoing and casual, she tends to use every opportunity to voice out her many opinions and values her friendships greatly. Srishti is also a dancer who also enjoys writing in her spare time.
