Aijan Muktar
Aijan is a 20 year old law student and activist for youth citizenship from Geneva. Among others she has been active in organizations such as the Parlement des Jeunes Genevois, the Red Youth Cross and the European Youth Parliament. Since June 2018, she is the Swiss Youth Representative to the United Nations, which gives her two missions: participating in international conferences and events as a youth delegate and on the other hand raising awareness about UN-topics among young people in Switzerland.
Ankit Singhal
Ankit is a 15 year old student at the International School Basel and has lived in Switzerland for 6 years. In his free time he plays basketball competitively and trains in martial arts.He is an active participant in Model United Nations and loves to consider and debate difficult questions relating to politics.
David Pavlu
David is a law student at the University of Basel. Besides his studies he sings in a choir, is a skiing instructor and likes outdoor sports. He is politically active and could gain experiences in the Youth Parliament in Basel, in the European Youth Parliament, the Model United Nations or the Swiss Federal Youth Session. Furthermore he is chairperson of a youth party in Basel.
Magdalena Oller
Magdalena is a 12th grade student at the International School of Basel. She is from Spain, but has lived in Switzerland for the past seven years. Her hobbies are playing volleyball and sailing. She is the co-head of MAST organization, which aims to raise awareness about sex trafficking.
Mariam Mekhail
Mariam Mekhail is a 15 year old student in 10th grade focusing on Business and Law at the Swiss International School Basel. She is Egyptian and has lived in Switzerland for 14 years. Mariam is passionate about basketball, music, languages and psychology and is a regular participant in international MUN (Model United Nations) conferences.
Mathis Ebner
Mathis is a 23 year old Game Design student at the Zurich University of the Arts. In his free time he trains and teaches Karate at Budo Arts Basel.
Nate Pressner
Nate Pressner is an American who since age 7 grew up in Switzerland and is a student in his final year in Swiss school, where he will graduate with dual Swiss Matura and International Baccalaureate diplomas. He has a passion for travel (favorite location is Japan), sports (co-captain of his local football team) and business—especially digital transformation (his planned course of study in university)
