Our fragile world is complicated, and it seems more and more that democracies, countries, and societies are choosing war, combat, or violence as a response to a situation they cannot control.
But what is the true nature of war and violence? What are the costs in unintended consequences, moral injuries, and post-traumatic stress? As a society, what role do we play in the violence? What's right - what's wrong? How would you feel knowing people are killing on your behalf?
Join us for a TED-Talk (followed by group conversations) about how soldiers are extensions of us all, and through our inability to manage conflict they end up literally grappling with darkness on our behalf.
We look forward to seeing you there!
