Ghina Al-Shdaifat
Student
Hello everyone! My name is Ghina and I attend the British International School of Jeddah. I am currently in my first year of the IB (International Baccalaureate) program. I am an ordinary 17-year-old female that is wondering why is masculinity considered to be the best feature of mankind and Earth? Living in the Middle East and specifically in Saudi Arabia, I am grateful and honored to be given this opportunity to speak amongst a society where women’s voices are rarely heard. I am constantly faced with male dominance and I simply am trying to get my voice heard.
Jad El-Ghali
Student
My name is Jad El-Ghali, and I am a student at the British International School of Jeddah. My life goal is to lead the world into a new era of true globalization and peace through the codependence and coexisting of all states and nations. My hobbies range from acting and comedy to Model United Nations and debating. Throughout my life I have watched TED Talks both in and out of the classroom. Being able to watch someone speak about important things from around the world, I saw this as an opportunity. A world stage where one can send important messages and teach important lessons to people all over the world. Ever since then, I knew I had to get up on that stage.
Kenzy El-Morsi
Student
Hey friend! My name is Kenzy El-Morsi and I’m currently in my final year of high school. If I had to describe myself in three words, I’d say I’m overly-emotional, ever-curious and read-too-much-for-my-own-good. Those are three words right? I also have a love-hate relationship with humanity. Feel free to talk to me about books, my dog, or anything else that comes to mind.
Saifallah Khashoggi
Student
My name is Saifallah Khashoggi but I go by Saif. I have a strong passion for entrepreneurship and my main motivation is my desire to to improve my surroundings. My hobbies range from playing football and designing clothing in my free time- a gene I inherited from my mother who is a fashion designer. My father and I would watch TED speeches every Friday, and ever since I was a child I remember telling him that I will be on that stage too.
