Antonia Grigorova
She is a Bulgarian cross-country skier born in Varna, Bulgaria. Her career in sports started in 2004. Ever since then she has competed for country all around the globe. Among her most relevant accomplishments is her 60th place in the 10km event that took place in the Vancouver during the winter olympics. Antonia also takes part in mountain running races. Her will and eagerness have guided her throughout her journey, which is what she talks about in her lecture.
Bogomila Traykova
Bogomila is a young woman with many interests. She is a professional in the sphere of the sustainable development, but at the same time she is a creative entrepreneur. When she was only 19 years old, she decided to open her own bar on the beach which lasted for about 6 years. However, this does not stop her from graduating in Vienna, doing internships in Switzerland and working as a consultant in sustainable development. Until then, she is focused on working in the sphere of the “green” financing. Her marginal projects are concerned with expanding social challenges and helping companies which provide consumer goods, but at the same time help the ones in need. She has a start-up project for clothes that are made of organic materials, and a social platform that aims to provoke change in our society by sharing inspirational stories.
Boyan Bakurdjiev
Boyan is a happily married 33 year old PR specialist with two children. Every day he chooses one of the many electromobiles that are available in Sofia and moves around the country with it. He doesn’t have “new money”. Not even “old money”. Neither is he related to Elon Musk. He is one of the 35 000 users of SPARK - the first and by far the only electric car sharing service in Bulgaria. His lecture is about how a simple modern service completely changed the mobility in Bulgaria.
Christian Youngs
Christian Youngs is from North Monmouth, Maine. He used to be a coach in Former Men’s Rowing and is currently working as a Physics and Astronomy teacher at the American College of Sofia. His dedication, constant determination to find new things about us and our place in the world, and his devotion to his students, are only a few of the reasons why he can make everyone stop and listen. This is a lecture about the world, the universe and about where we stand.
Elena Petrova
Elena Petrova is an exceptional Bulgarian actress and producer. Among her most famous roles are ‘Roseville’ and ‘Glass home’. She had her degree in the University of Plovdiv where she studied synthetic scene art. Elena also works as a TV presenter of TV shows from time to time. She is currently working the National Theater located in Sofia where she acts in different productions on a regular basis.
Lili Yordanova
Lili is the manager of of a multicultural team who is in charge of one of the leading companies for music streaming. Her former occupation had to do with human resources and criminal psychology. She has a masters degree in Labour and Organizational psychology. Her experience in diverse knowledge are evident as she talks about what gave her inspiration.
Silviya Lulcheva
She is a well-known Bulgarian actress who is famous for her role in the comedy TV series ‘Sofia residents in excess’. She also does voice overs in famous movies and series. Silviya graduated from Bulgaria’s National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 1990, and after that she joined the Youth Theater ‘Nikolay Binev’. Her smile and her charm is contagious as she speaks about the inspiration in her life and as a whole.
