Aman Kumar
Speaker + Co-Founder
Mr.Aman Kumar is the CEO of Teeshood, a customized merchandize store for buying or designing t-shirts now just in the short span of time.
The name of his talk is : 'Life is what you make it'
"Normally when we talk about entrepreneurship or any entrepreneur, there is always a very classy successful story connected to it. And
though we enjoy reading that but at the same time it doesn’t leave much impact on us. Why? Because we don’t feel connected to it. As
when we hear few entrepreneur’s stories it senses like they were made for it or they had some early signs of becoming an entrepreneur.
Maybe they had achieved many accolades since their childhood and we were just busy in going with the flow and being average novice
each time", says Mr.Kumar
Anouska Saraf
Speaker
Anouska Saraf will be speaking about Mental Health Awareness or the lack thereof. 17-year-old Anouska Saraf started a campaign called Speak Now last year following a summer internship in a mental health department at a hospital where she realised how genuine the need for a voice was for mental illnesses to be properly understood. The Campaign works to raise awareness about mental illnesses and provides avenues to those who require treatment through short films, poster campaigns, talk sessions and wellness activities. With a core committee made up entirely of young people who work closely with Anouska, Speak Now has grown to help many young people who have faced mental issues and its message of the "need to speak out" has reached much of the community. Since it is a part of her daily life, Anouska has gained a very detailed and clear insight into mental health and the issues surrounding it and how it has become an absolute necessity for it to be accepted and understood.

Sara Muthedath is from the 11th grade of Calcutta International School. Generally, she is interested in music, literature, people, and is always up for a conversation regarding anything human. She chose to talk about feminism, and how to use it as a tool, because it's something that she is very passionate about, and something she fears gets a bad rap. "I am passionate about it because, whether or not we are aware of it, all of us are parts of various social systems, and things like feminism show you how to question the systems you're in, and to demand you're treated the same way as everyone else. I think that's important.", says Ms.Sara Muthedath

Suryaansh Basumallik
Speaker
TOPIC : Ideological theory on creativity.
I feel many students no matter what the age, face a lot of difficulty with efficiency, I too face this problem and feel that I have essentially overcome it .
Everyone has an idol, someone they see and have been motivated by, I personally idolize a teacher of mine in school and a monk called Jay Shetty. These individuals have helped me grow, expand my mind to broader horizons and try and believe to achieve. I want to share myself on this platform the idea that stuck me, this thought that blew past me but still landed right in the center of my thoughts, I want to share this with the world, I want to share what helps me expand further as an individual in many ways. I sincerely believe that this topic of mine could be of benefit to many as essentially all it is is and unopened door in ones mind being opened, a very important one. The topic is about one’s creativity that can be harnessed and be shown what can come of it and what is to be achieved.
Svarika Sonthalia
Speaker
Topic: Body positivity and breaking of stereotypes
Svarika Sonthalia is a 16 year old student studying the IB cuririculum in CIS.
Why she chose this topic:According to her this topic is sensational and a raging issue in our world today.
"Although people have started speaking up against topics such as the contorted perception of beauty, we still cannot stop ourselves from passing snide comments which hurt others' self confidence and esteem." - Svarika Sonthalia
Why she want to speak on this topic: She says stereotypes are a problematic topic in the society today. She wants stigma surrounding body types and "ideal beauty" to be broken and what better way to do this, than to start with our own city.
