In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

What started as a hobby of creating vines and exporting it online through his Facebook has now become an omnipresent character on YouTube with almost 2 million subscribers, multiple collaborations, and amazing series of videos.

Akshara Damle, however, seems to have gotten the hang of it now. Founder and psychologist at Mano Samvaada, Damle is a life coach, NLP practitioner and a public policy analyst. Other than his inclination towards human emotions, he is also a passionate writer, singer and traveller. He also has a keen interest in Indian classical art forms which translates into his works as well.

What happens when four college students happen to dream of enlarging the scintilla of music within themselves? CHAR HAZAARI. A band created by four people, while pursuing their education; with nothing but their dreams and passion; Char Hazaari was formed in 2012. With music as their panacea, Char Hazaari started their jams and practice sessions, later on adding another member. Infusing classical music with contemporary, Char Hazaari has created nine compositions so far, with many more to come. In their words, they share a dream to play, breathe music as long and as much as they can. From their first gig at Jaypee College, they have surely come a long way with their music being featured in Tehelka Music Project and multiple media platforms. Five young men who were once fighting dreamers, who have now become huge sensations.

Born in Punjab, Dr Ajay Pal Sharma is the current SSP of Gautam Budhh Nagar. Originally a doctor, Sharma became an IPS Officer in 2011 from UP Cadre. Having an amazing track record of shutting down organized crimes, eliminating mafia gangs and having expertise in handling kidnapping cases, he has become one of the youth icons of the country. He has also stressed on cyber crimes in the area, and is working on prevention of cyber frauds and fake call centers. His sincerity towards his work has also found its way to praises of the mainstream media.

Representing 6 paranormal troops of India internationally, having investigated more than 40 of such cases and having studied over 110 of them, Alani is now all set to publish his own book under Penguin India, which is all set to come out this December.

Interests in many fields can lead to great failures, but also a greater success, proven such by writer, actor and director, Parikshit Joshi. You can do anything you put your mind to, be it one or many and that is what Joshi has been doing amazingly. Belonging to Almora, Joshi graduated in mass communication at Maharaja Agrasen College. He is the former writer and editor of Mimaansa and has written and directed videos for many YouTube channels, like The Screen Patti, The Timeliners, Girliyapa, The Viral Fever and more. Apart from that, he has also acted in many web series belonging to the above channels, one of it being TSP's Rabish ki Report. Investing his time in creating halcyon content online and offline, Joshi has been efficient in all his fields of work.

RJ Heena

Radio jockey

RJ Heena is a radio jockey at RED FM 93.5 Delhi. She did her B. Comm from Jammu University and further did her Diploma in Radio from IIMC. She then interned at BIG FM Gwalior and got employed full time at RED FM Delhi. Currently, she hosts the show Midnight Masala from 9 PM to 12 midnight. She is very much admired for her show segment where she conveys messages of people while keeping them anonymous. Her content and style have made her one of the favorites in the youth listeners.

From legal aid and medical support, to running a campaign for awareness, MLNS has been responsible for getting over 70 lives back on track.
