At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Jephthah Amadasun, asides from being an Alumni of Lagos State University where he studied Electronic and Computer Engineering, he has attended trainings on Blockchain technology in and outside Nigeria. He has constantly led technical fora discussions and spoke at conferences on Blockchain technology—and how this technology can advance payment solutions for SMEs and MSMEs in Nigeria. He is also an advocate of the integration of Blockchain into core sectors of the economy. Over the years, as a seasoned Blockchain Analyst, Jephthah has worked on projects that involve decentralizing payment solutions using Ethereum. Notably, he worked on a Blockchain based Artificial Intelligence (AI) solution domiciled in Seychelles, which will be made public later in 2019.

Bernard Kalu is a documentary photographer based in Nigeria, his work is inspired by a passion to explore life and humanity. His Photography is drawing with light and he's adopted it as a tool to not only tell stories but preserve today for the future. Bernard began working in photography in 2014, exploring street documentary and creative twists to wedding photography- with Verteller Studios. He is a certified canon master storyteller. He was first runner up in the 2017 NatGeo portfolio review and has been on assignment with a number of organizations within and outside Nigeria. To mention a few, #MyMakoko project by NBNL, Respiratory stories for The Lancet, African tourism project by MyAfricanPassport Inc. Imade Iyamu is a corporate lawyer, finance professional and creative writer. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and a student member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She graduated from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus in 2018 and received the Director-General’s Award for First Class Students as well as the Deputy Director-General’s Award for Writing. Marquis Adejoke

Tiamiyu, Hezekiah Toheeb is a seasoned speaker, public speaking trainer and poet. He is the President of the Lagos State University Debate Society (LSUDS) and also the Head of Litigation, Elias Chambers, Faculty of Law. Hezekiah is an Ambassador of Lagos State University (LASU) representing his institution proudly in several competitions and events. He won an award of Outstanding Delegate at the Nigerian Tertiary Institutions Model United Nations in 2017 and also won Best Debater at the Intervarsity Debate Competition in 2018 amongst many others. He also represented Lagos at the JawJaw South-Western Debate in 2018 also. He is likewise the co-founder and trainer at iSpeak International Academy, a public speaking firm devoted to efficient public speaking training, leadership and skills development. Penkiah as he is fondly called is also a Spoken Words Artiste with a crew called Versed Voices. He is presently a 400Level student of Faculty of Law, Lagos State University.
