She has witnessed first hand the steep rise in pressures to achieve in today's society along with the ever increasing risks of social media on young minds. Teaching and building skills for resilience and good mental health is one of the most effective ways to not only combat these issues with immediacy, but to also empower our children with such skills that will last a lifetime.

TEDx Talk: Singing in the car
“Whenever I meet people outside of my work and I
tell them what I do for a living, the first thing I hear
is nearly always ‘I wish I could sing but I can’t hold
a note!’ It’s always baffled me that so many people would love to do
it but don’t because their perception of their own abilities holds them back. I believe that everyone can and should sing!”

TEDx Talk: The myth about pain
“It’s estimated that one in five people currently suffer
with a persistent pain condition - whether that’s
related to a long-standing illness, like arthritis, or
a primary pain syndrome like fibromyalgia or migraines. And for
many, they feel trapped by their pain. So I’m thrilled to be giving a talk that will break down some myths around pain and aid people in their recovery.”
Health & Wellness Coach and Founder of Fit For Life Mums

without encountering challenges and upsets (that I've ever met anyway!)”
Property Developer and Founder of Signature Living
Signature Living first began in 2008, when Lawrence Kenwright purchased a single apartment on Victoria Street in Liverpool’s city centre, with a vision to offer guests an unforgettable experience. Expanding this vision across the UK with a focus on preserving some of the UK’s most iconic and historic buildings from dereliction he has developed his heritage hotel portfolio in Cardiff, Belfast, Preston and Manchester.
With a city centre location Lawrence became aware of Liverpool's sharp incline in homeless people sleeping in the doorways of the city. After Kingsway House homeless shelter was forced to close in February 2018, Signature Living launched The Cotton Street Project. A new homeless shelter designed with a difference.
“I am driven to a fault, but anchored by my social
responsibility. I want people to believe that as a
society we have options that live outside of the
political arena.”
TEDx Talk: Entrepreneurial socialism and
how businesses can help the homeless

TEDx Talk: Technology, who’s controlling who?
“Embarrassingly I’ve now been overtaken by all my
kids on the technology front !”
International athlete-turned-business coach
“I’m a business coach who’s fascinated by the impact
that people and small business can have on the
world. I’m also a travel nut who loves to learn about
different cultures and see different places.”
TEDx Talk: Eyeballs out and wobbly cheeks
“Through my years as a competitive athlete and my more recent
years coaching people to grow themselves and their businesses, I have seen
how incredible people can be and yet so many completely underestimate
themselves and they don’t need to do that. As a Northwich resident and
a mahoosive TED talks fan I was really excited to be able to give this talk
Volunteer and Training Co-ordinator at Groundwork, Cheshire, Lancashire and Merseyside
“After more than 25 years working in the community
and environmental sector, I thought I knew more
than most about how human activities impact on our
environment. That all changed quite recently when I
discovered how much I didn’t know about our waste
water infrastructure, and how connected our homes and businesses really are to our local rivers and streams.
“Speaking at TEDxNorthwich is an opportunity to encourage people to find out for themselves whether their day-to-day activities are having a negative impact on our local river environment and to think about things they can do to make a positive difference.”
