Theme: The Explosion of Mind

Our event is directed to all members of the community, especially the youth. This Talk-show aims to inspire the audience to discover their hidden talents and to use them creatively throughout their lives. To help deliver our ideas more easily and to have a stronger impact on our guests, we will deliver our ideas through different media such as talks, videos, and other engaging activities which includes an art gallery. The event theme is “The Explosion of Mind”, which will address the topic of creativity and empowerment of the youth.

Abduljabbar Al Homoud

Abduljabbar Alhamood is currently a Junior at Boston University studying biomedical engineering minoring in Chemistry and Material Science & Engineering with a concentration in Technology Innovation. He tries to indulge himself in various research fields to discover his true passion. He participated in a number of research competitions including Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), Gulf Coast Undergraduate Research Symposium (GCURS) in Rice University, and was invited to the National Council of Undergraduate Research (NCUR) at Harvard University. He aspires to get a Ph.D. to make a difference in the world we live in.

Hassan is keen to share his love for research and innovation with the next generation. He assisted a number of students in conducting research and coached them to participate in science fairs as a member of Maseera organization. As a Leader of the Health Professions Conference, he reviews research submissions and helps set the conference agenda.

I am Maha AlHomoud, a blood cancer survivor, a writer, and a bachelors student of Applied Mathematics and Political Science. I dream of establishing a Saudi-based united cancer front that provides support for cancer survivors and those closely affected, and I hope to represent Saudi Arabia at the United Nations one day, along with a law degree from an esteemed institution.
