He is the Co-founder of the renowned band 'Thermal and a Quarter'. He has been a drummer for twenty-two years. Runs two music academies and has trained 5000+ students. Have featured on Rolling Stone magazine's cover, and have opened for Guns N' Roses. TAAQ’s genial groovemeister, used to be a teenage metalhead. There was a time when bands like Slayer and Megadeth took pride of place in his tape collection. Like any obsessive percussionist, Rajeev put in his time banging on desks, plates, the walls, and anything else within reach before receiving a thorough grounding in his chosen instrument from a teacher who introduced him to the wider world of rhythm. His musical interests and abilities grew in tandem, and while he’s never been the type to take an extended, flashy drum solo at the expense of his band mates (or the audience), his handy way with a backbeat made him the first choice for a nascent band with progressive aspirations called Thermal and a Quarter.

Mr. Ramesh Kumar worked in the Electronics Division of BHEL, Bangalore for 18 years - 1981 to 1999, as Manager - EDP. As part of the MIS team here, he was involved in the design, development, and implementation of MRP and MRP II systems. A member of the core team for New Technologies, he underwent SAP training and conducted a detailed feasibility study for implementing SAP. Mr. Ramesh Kumar is the recipient of more than 15 productivity awards at BHEL. In his various capacities in the EDP department, he was instrumental in setting up and improving systems & processes from planning to production, including quality. Mr. Ramesh Kumar has contributed more than 30 articles on different technologies for various Magazines and has published a book "Engineers' Yellow Pages".
