Andreas Eriksson

Assiostant professor in Pharmacology.
Master in Medical Biology, PhD in Pharmacology, employed as University Lecturer in Pharmacology. Work is mainly focused on teaching students at university level. A current interest is teaching students with the help of technology (such as recorded lectures)

Jenny Hagenblad

Associate professor
Jenny did her undergraduate and graduate studies at Lund University leading to a PhD in genetics, with the graduate studies partly carried out at University of Southern California, Los Angeles. After her dissertation, Jenny went to Edinburgh University as a post doctoral research fellow and Jenny have since worked at Uppsala University, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim and is currently at IFM - Biology at Linköping University. Her main research interest lies within evolutionary genetics and how genetic data can be used to understand the evolutionary history of a species. Jenny have worked with different plant model system and she is currently studying the evolution of cultivated plants.

Martin Viksten

Vice Project Manager and President of LiU iGEM, Linköping, Sweden
Since Martin started studying Medical Biology at Linköpings University he has found an increased interest in entrepreneurship in the medical field. At this point of time he is the president of the organisation LiU iGEM where he plans to further develop the organisation to increase student interest and engagement in synthetic biology.

Peter Påhlsson

Professor in Medical Biology, Deputy Head of Department Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine (IKE)
Research: Glycobiology, studies of structure and function of complex carbohydrates. His main focus has been on structural studies of plasma protein glycosylation and development of methods for diagnosis of disease based on detection of aberrant glycosylation. Another focus is studying the role of glycosylation of plasma glycoproteins in the acute inflammatory response. Teaching: Development of problem-based learning techniques for basic biomedicine training. Entrepreneurial training within medical and biomedical education. Presentation techniques.
