In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

She is an aesthete by nature and an 8th grader from KRM Public School, Chennai. Her passion towards art is infinite and she draws inspiration from her mother. She strongly postulates that art can change the world and through her art she can be a pillar of support for the education of the girl child.

She is a 10th grader from KRM Public School, Chennai. She has been nurturing her passion to become an artist since childhood. Being a highly self-motivated individual she loathes seeking aid from others. In fact, books and internet have contributed a great deal in adding up to her knowledge quotient. She is a dedicated youngster who strives to achieve her goal with focus and a single minded devotion to the job at hand. She dreams of becoming the Miss World one day, no wonder Manushi Chillar is her inspiration. A proud individual, her ambition is also to become a Doctor to render valuable service to the society. She cherishes a vision to spread awareness about compulsory elementary education to children all over the world.

Maithryshree is a 10th grader from KRM Public School, Chennai. She dreams of becoming a American motivational speaker Lizzie Velásquez someday. It is something which comes naturally to her courtesy her parents and grandparents who keep motivating her round the clock. She keeps herself busy by listening to speeches of great men which spurs her up to achieve what she wants. An optimist to the core, she wants to eradicate pessimism from the world by becoming a psychologist. Lizzie Velasquez and her never give up attitude inspires her with awe. True to Swami Vivekananda’s words, she is her complete self when she is alone.

MANASA S

A vibrant and eloquent 10th grader from KRM Public School, Chennai. Manasa’s passion is singing and listening to different genres of music. Her love for singing is such that she can create different versions of the same song and sing it to her hearts content as her inspiration comes from the Indian playback singer Shreya Ghoshal who happens to be her favourite too. Her parents are her greatest pillar of support and they never cease to motivate all her endeavours and this is what keeps her passionate all the time alongside being her perfect self when surrounded by family and friends. A bibliophile whose second inspiration is J.K Rowling’s books and her story of success. An ambitious girl who wishes to pursue her higher studies at the Law College, Bangalore on her way to become a lawyer. One change that she would like to bring about in the world is to eradicate the social stigma and remove the patriarchal society.

MOHAMMED AADHIL HUQ A

A polyglot and a 10th grader from KRM Public School, Chennai. A passionate individual who has a flair for languages, drawing inspiration from his brother who is a master of many languages. A self-motivated being who is highly supported by his family and friends. He is currently learning Korean, Spanish and a few more languages. He is a linguist who has turned into a budding novelist. His greatest inspiration, Tim and his amazing language skills has enhanced his passion towards languages. As he moves towards his future, he aspires to enter into the medical field. He is in his complete self when surrounded by his family and friends. An eloquent, confident and enthusiastic individual.

She is a 7th grader from KRM Public School, Chennai. At this young age she is so passionate about delivering speeches in front of capacity crowds. A highly motivated individual, she gains a lot of strength and will power from her parents. She puts in great effort to spend her leisure time usefully by indulging in coin and stamp collection apart from listening to ted talks. She is indeed a visionary who aspires to be a great leader one day like her inspiration, Dr.A.P.J.AbdulKalam. She entertains high hopes for herself as she wants to become an IAS officer through which she could motivate people to face the world with confidence. She is in her complete self when she is speaking in front of large crowds as she completely owns the stage.

She is a 7th grader from KRM Public School, Chennai. Little different from the ordinary, she feels that her passion is her ambition. She sees herself as an archaeologist in the future. Her passion for the subject grew out of her willingness to research and read about excavations. Her fascination for archaeology motivates her to know more about mankind. She is also an avid story writer who likes to code and decode mysteries through her stories. At the outset she is an individual who likes challenges and shows a positive vibrancy to break the shackles laid upon her. She draws a lot of inspiration from the great Chanakya and envisages being an astute thinker like him one day. She feels her complete self while writing books and listening to music.
