Xtra Narratives is about sharing expanded ideas upon existing narratives that can possibly reshape the world and make it better. #TEDxMatlockRoad celebrates and welcomes Xtra Narratives from a diverse community with rich ideas to explore; further.

The hidden and driving force of our society is the underlying narratives that propel us to pay attention to certain subjects through media channels such as movies, news, docu-series, and all portable media. It has a subtle influence that guides the direction of public opinion and, eventually, policy.

Our theme for this year’s event, Xtra Narratives, delivers expanded ideas that will aid in shifting the status quo of certain constructs and offer an opportunity to re-think what we have been persuaded to believe concerning these constructs. Our intent is to give you a new way of redefining the norm and provide you with alternatives to pivot the old paradigms into new ones.
