Areej Al Medinah

Areej is the co-founder and Chief Strategist at ConnectHear, a social start-up incubated at the Nest i/o working to increase accessibility and inclusion for the deaf through sign language interpretation services. Her major is Electrical Engineering, and being a liberal arts student from Habib University, she is inclined towards solving social issues creatively through technology. She has done Technology and Innovation Intensive Studies at Stanford University, and was in the 2018 cohort of Stanford's Silicon Valley Innovation Academy where she worked extensively on creatively designing solutions to bring meaningful impact. For her, design is the most important aspect of problem solving. Previously, she has served as a fellow at the Richi Social Immersion Program Boston 2016, studied Sustainable Product Design at Harvard University and is an alumna of the US State Department Exchange Programs.
Arsal Fahim

A seasoned straight-shooter, I rely on an approach centred on reasoning and rationality in my trainings to counter cognitive barriers to personal development. My trainings combine the tangibility and metastability of skill enhancement with a deeply intellectual component that rests on recognition of the self. Awarded the GOETHE merit award by Germany for contribution in the field of children entertainment and education through theatre and media. On the board of Oxford children assembly. Writer of children books printed by OUP.

Muneeb Adil is a passionate filmmaker, He owns a YouTube channel “The jo bhi show” where he does podcasts and shares his opinions about the issues in society. Moreover, he has started a new channel called “Cinema Ghar” which the vision to give exposure to young filmmakers around Pakistan.

Shahzad Qureshi
Entrepreneur/Urban Forester
Qureshi is an entrepreneur with a number of initiatives to his name, including the website tohfay.com and the well-known Raintree Spa. His latest venture is an urban forest in Clifton, Karachi. The last few years have been particularly tough on Karachi, with pollution levels reaching an all-time high, and thousands of citizens losing their life due to heat waves.
With the provincial and federal government’s failure to fix the situation, civic activism came to the rescue in the form of Shahzad Qureshi.
Qureshi wants to create Pakistan’s first urban forest, which will employ the Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki’s method of planting trees. Within this method, different types of trees are planted close together in a small pit, which allows them to grow ten times faster than usual.
Tofiq Pasha

Tofiq Pasha Mooraj, is commonly recognized for his television shows Bagh Baani, Kitchen Garden and Go Camping with Pasha. He has worked in countless nature related projects such as a project of Water-Conservation, working on grass root level he was a member of Hisaar Foundation and is now a member of Board of Directors Indus Delta Area Water Partnership, a member Global Water Partnership and the Pakistan Water Partnership.
Additionally, he is also the focal point of South Asia for Water, Food and Environment and an active supporter of Women and Water Network Pakistan. In a nutshell he's an 'Environmentalist' who has dedicated more than 40years of his life for a 'Better and Sustainable Tomorrow’.
Yousuf Bashir Qureshi
Artist/Fashion Designer
Yousuf Bashir Qureshi’s talents and passions range from
fashion design, photography and painting, to food science
and farming. The cultivated man has been successful at anything he
touches, including his recent project ‘United Pakistan’, a social program that he
initiated amidst the recent flood disaster in Pakistan.
Qureshi is involved in all aspects of the creation process, a true artisan.
Indicted with the vision that he has been following for years- teaching
the young generation.
Yousuf has always been involved in education, whether it is
alternative or academic. He is a resident professor at Indus Valley School
and also has been invited to speak for numerous courses around the world.
This is an integral part of Bashir’s vision and future for Pakistan’s art community
