Anastasia Skourtsou-Anagnostou
Anastasia Skourtsou-Anagnostou studied Theology and she is now an educator. She is the president of the Specialized Vocational Training Laboratory of Lesvos and founding member and president of the Association of Parents and Friends of People with Autism “SYN-exelixis” (Co-evolution).
Athanasios Kalamatas
Athanasios Kalamatas studied Theology in Thessaloniki. His texts and studies have been published in scientific journals, collective volumes, and conference proceedings. He teaches Theology at the Experimental School of the University of the Aegean in Mytilene and Educational Methodology, Pedagogy and Philosophy of Education at the Higher School of Pedagogical and Technological Education in Mytilene.
Dino and Marios Nikolaidis
Ntinos Nikolaidis studied and worked as an engineer before creating his first motorcycle on 1987! He is the founder and CEO of the only Greek company which designs and manufactures air filters for motorcycles and cars. Along with his son, Marios, they take advantage of their company’s R&D department work and they work on a parallel project: the creation of the first ever Greek motorcycle!
Errica Prezerakou
A former athlete herself, who stopped pole jump after some serious injuries just before her participation in the Olympic Games, Errica Prezerakou never gave up! She used her experience as an athlete and her studies in psychology to create an alternative educational method, Replayce.
Ilias and Elpida Kourtzi
Ilias studied Chemistry but he also worked as a pottery maker. Elpida, his daughter, after finishing her athletic studies in England, returned to Greece and started working at her ceramics workshop. Both of them are continuing and evolving a long tradition of their families, as their ancestors are some of the most famous pottery makers in Lesvos! They share that journey beyond folklore on TEDxLesvos stage.

Iosif Botetzagias
Iosif Botetzagias is an associate professor at the University of the Aegean. His research and teaching focuses on Environmental Policy & Sociology (environmental issues and communication, state-society relations on environmental issues, non-governmental environmental organizations and new social movements). Recently he has also started to deal with issues of Environmental History. At the same time, he is an activist regarding animal welfare and the president of the Animal Welfare Association “Kivotos” (Ark) in Mytilene.

Kiki Tsakaldimi shares her life changing experience, as the first Greek woman, who didn’t have any mount climbing experience, yet inspired by a climber’s TEDx talk, she decided to train herself and climb mount Everest!

She is a parental and educational activist especially for the rights and inclusion of minority children (people with disabilities, homeless people, LGBT, refugee children, etc.)
Vasilis Chrisos
Vasilis Chrisos is an active citizen and he participated in several social movements and initiatives for several issues, like environment protection, public spaces, citizen journalism, immigrants’ rights etc. Except from Sarantaporo.gr founding member, he is also a cofounder of Ex Machina, an Internet of Things sector startup.
