Singer/Songwriter
Jack Davies is a 19 year old singer/songwriter based in Fremantle. Influenced by his experience growing up in the vibrant local poetry and music scene, his songs are lyrical and often witty folk tales of suburban Perth.
With a celebrated knack for songwriting and a merry seven person band of folk heroes known as The Bush Chooks, they spend their days serenading the ever few coastal towns of W.A. Their whimsical tunes have certainly tugged at heartstrings because the band came out as winners of the Emerging Artist Award at this year's Nannup Music Festival!

Paper Bird Children's Books and Arts is a story house with writers, story tellers & illustrators on hand. With workshops, kids book clubs, book launches, and discussion panels, it is a dynamic cultural hub for the young and young at heart.
Opening their doors in 2016, Paper Bird has found a nest among friends at the historic Moores Building, alongside the Moores Contemporary Art Gallery and Moore & Moore Cafe, on Henry Street in Fremantle.
Having researched and participated in children’s cultural centres across the world, founding Director of Paper Bird, Jennifer Jackson, recognises the value of cities having dedicated arts & literature spaces for children. Performance Artist
Stelarc is a living, breathing piece of Australian art. His projects and performances explore alternate anatomical architectures, interrogating issues of embodiment, agency, identity and the posthuman. Between 1973-1975 he made 3 films showcasing the inside of his body - featuring three metres of visual probes into his stomach, left and right bronchi of his lungs and into his colon. He has performed with a Third Hand, a Stomach Sculpture and Exoskeleton, a 6-legged walking robot. He is surgically constructing and stem-cell growing an ear on his arm that will be electronically augmented and internet enabled.
In his Re-Wired / Re-Mixed performance, for five days, six hours a day he could only see with the eyes of someone in London, hear with the ears of someone in NY, whilst anyone, anywhere could choreograph his exoskeleton arm. From 2013, Stelarc is a Distinguished Research Fellow, Curtin University, Perth. His artwork is represented by Scott Livesey Galleries, Melbourne.
