When a collection of brilliant minds, hearts and talents come together, expect a masterpiece!
This is a team community event - embracing ideas worth spreading. We are focused on showcasing 'game changers', 'innovative minds' and 'talents' within the Greater Puget Sound community bringing together an extraordinary expose for a thriving, sustainable, vibrant future! On a Leap Year date, we'll have a chance, collectively, to take a giant leap forward. Participating in the TED goal of The City 2.0 , which has been the dream/goal of scientists, architects, urban planners, mayors and public policy folks for dozens of years -through urban planning, architecture, design, technology, entrepreneurship and community activism. Great communities represent an incredible opportunity for a beautiful, sustainable future:
- they promote innovation through proximity
- they can reduce population growth
- they can ease development pressure on rural areas
- they can offer economic opportunity, culture, education
