Cristina is a Cultural Heritage Expert and a Venice guide. She specializes in offering a multifaceted experience of Venice, given at a slower pace, one that incorporates the history and the stories of this singular city in a way that brings the past alive. She has collaborated with the UNESCO and the Council of Europe in the field of Cultural Heritage and is the author of a number of books and articles on Venice.
Head of Education, European Cultural Centre
Maria Nekrassova is in charge of the educational activities at the European Cultural Centre Foundation. She help creatives, both professional and amateurs, to succeed in the competitive fields of art and architecture. She studied sociology of cultural practices in the EHESS, Paris, France and graduated cum laude from the Moscow State University in Russia. She has lived in five countries working on short and long term cultural projects with artistic and cultural professionals across the globe. In her work she focuses on blended learning, education in arts and art market.
Designer
Omri Revesz is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Venice and Tel Aviv, with works across the fields of Architecture, Art and Design.
In his work, Revesz examines changes in contemporary society and human behaviours as motors for new scenarios and interactions. Through a method of strategic thinking and a careful investigation of processes and technology, his projects are often defined as creating platforms for surprising possibilities and activities.
He won numerous international awards and honours. His works have been exhibited in major design platforms and were published in many design magazines and professional editorials. He currently teaches products Design at Iuav University of Venice and is a guest lecturer at Ca’ Foscari University and ECA European Culture Academy.
President, Orsoni Venezia 1888
Riccardo spent more than 10 years in Far East in architectural material business. Back in Italy in 2005 he made his career covering the position of COO and currently Regional CEO of TREND Group SPA. He has been nominated as President of Orsoni where among his duties he is dedicated to raise awareness of the importance of the historic heritage of the last furnace in Venice that produces more than 3.500 Venetian enamels.
Riccardo’s skill and passion is to research and develop new technologies, ideas and solutions not only for products but also for business.
Editorial Director, Domus
Graduated in Theoretical Philosophy from the University of Siena, he was special student in History of ideas at Louvain-La-Neuve and subsequently at Harvard University GSAS. Upon returning to Italy, after an Executive Program at Bocconi University, he was PhD candidate in Complexity Theory at University of Bergamo. Professionally, after some year as non tenure researcher and visiting scholar, he started conceiving and directing media projects and magazines. Among them: English 24 and Intelligence in Lifestyle for Gruppo 24 Ore, Periferie for Senator Architect Renzo Piano, Economia&Management for Bocconi University, Ticino Sette for Swiss media company MediaTI, WeLink for global law firm Linklaters. In September 2017, he was appointed Editorial Director of Domus, with the task of conceiving, directing and developing the Domus System (magazine, site, archive, events, intelligence) and of reporting directly to the President, Maria Giovanna Mazzocchi Bordone.
