Ideas are the universal language that connects human kind regardless of any barrier.

TED and TEDx global community have made one world out of it: yes, the "World of Ideas".

Those ideas are not perfect and aren't sorted in the hyperuranium as a pretty famous Greek philosopher hypothesized; they come out of rounded red carpets at TED and TEDx events in a tangible, cool and entertaining way, always ready to be improved or replaced by the open minds that will be willing to gift us!

Daniel Baeder

Musician, drummer

Daniel started on piano at four years old taking classes and composing his own music. At 11 got his first drum set and at 12 started to play professionally. He won "the best drum student" trophy from Vera's Figueiredo Drum Institute. At 19, Daniel joined a very well-known rock fusion band “O TERÇO” and started to tour all over Brasil. His career culminated joining Cirque du Soleil’s first Brazilian creation called “OVO” as a drummer, recording in the Show's music CD, participating of Its creation and many TV shows around the world. In 2016 participate of the remount of “OVO” into arena as Band Leader, he was the first drummer to be officially bandleader and leading a band in a creation/remount. He decided to move to Japan and run his own projects. Now Daniel is performing in many jazz clubs in Japan.

Hiroki Inokuchi

Interactive media creator

Born in Kumamoto in 1983, Inokuchi graduated from Kyushu Institute of Art and Design and after leaving the company KOO-KI, joined Mont Blanc Pictures in 2012. Specialized in motion graphics for commercials and web, he also handles projects such as TV programs from concept design to completion. In recent years he has been utilizing new technologies and interactive media to create work outside the field of traditional broadcasting.

Kaoru Yamano

Artist, painter

Born in Kurume, in the island of Kyushu, Japan. Since her childhood she was attracted by art and always kept herself engaged in the school art club. In 1976, she studied copperplate printing and contemporary art at the IAF Institute of Art of Fukuoka. Her works deep root to the inner self, the invisible, the genesis of life of living things in the vast space, the roots of energy, the infinite. Her paints while spreading onto the canvas as watered plants they gain vitality: a fusion of unconsciousness and accidentality, or dialogue.

Naohiro Tokuda

MC Tatami Rapper

Born in Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture. After working for a semiconductor-related manufacturer, he has been trained as the fourth-generation successor to the family business Tokuda Tatami, a traditional Japanese tatami carpet maker. On the weekend, he transforms into an unique artist, Tatami rapper Mc Tatami, trying to revitalize tatami tradition by creating interesting content and music that combines tatami and entertainment.

Patricia Murakami

Montessori education teacher

Born between a Japanese father and an Argentinian mother. Having spent her childhood in Mexico, she moved to her father’s hometown, Kumamoto, Japan. After receiving education at an international school in Mexico which encourages and deems diversity and freedom high, she struggled to conform to Japan’s ‘one-size-fits-all’ education. This experience and the birth of her son have guided her to the Montessori Method which values the individuality and self-direction of a child. Through her English lessons with the Montessori Method incorporated, she continues her research on the method of assistance which enables every child to find on their own that ‘learning is diverse and enjoyable’. She currently teaches children aged between 3 and 12 in Fukuoka.

Satoko Fukuda

Contemporary dance performer

The body brings forth movement, as buds bloom from the ground. Energy erupts forming trees, forcing shoots to branches. Leaves dance in the air. Falling to earth, returning to nature. Satoko graduated from the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary dance in UK. After she graduated, she had a chance to tour with Moving Visions Dance theatre lead by Dr.Ross McKim. She also performed The CREATION by Mark Baldwin with Rambert Dance Company. She performed COR-02 with Oniin Dance Company at Harkness Dance Centre in New York, USA. She has worked with following choreographers: Kerry Nicholles, Xiaoqiang Cai, Kiki Soh, Edouard Hue, Arielle Smith and Julien Desplantez. She has been invited to perform the duet piece “UIRO URI” at New Dance for Asia Festival in South Korea in August 2018 and Fukuoka Dance Fringe Festival (FDFF) in January 2019

Taku Nakashima

Musician, performer

Born on December 4th, 1995 and raised in Fukuoka, Japan. He's one of the three professional handflutists in the world, who produce a beautiful healing sound without using any instrument except their hands as if they are playing the flute. He decided to become a professional handflutist when a homeless person was moved by hearing him play the handflute during a street performance and gave me a crumpled-up 1000 yen bill. He owns a teacher's certificate and wants to teach students that the most important thing in life is to cherish lofty ambitions.

Yuji Masataka
