Dominik & Anna Baer
When Dominik and Anna met in Chiang Mai Thailand, they were merely teenagers sitting next to each other in their 11th grade music
appreciation class. After graduating High School in 2005 their paths diverged. While Anna was off studying art in the USA, Dominik spent two years aimlessly wandering the Congo and Pakistan before beginning a music teaching degree in Heidelberg. Finally, in 2010, four harrowing years of long-distance relationship come to an end, and they got married. Anna joins Dominik in Heidelberg and they spend a number of years teaching art and music at Heidelberg International School while painting and songwriting in the evening hours. Starting with the birth of their son in 2017, they have now shifted their focus toward creating and performing full-time. Current projects include Anna’s “Zeitgenießische Galerie” (pop-up gallery and studio in Heidelberg), as well as Dominik’s visual album “Colliding In The Dark”, consisting of 12 songs, 12 videos and 12 large-scale abstract paintings by Anna, released
monthly throughout 2018.
